PWL BIGTIME WRESTLING

MONDAY, APRIL 15, 2002 - KANSAS CITY, MISSOURI.

Your Announcers: MIKE HOFFMAN and GENE WEST.

Match Number One, Women's World championship:
EVE OF DESTRUCTION (champion) vs.
SUAN (challenger, with New Mother).

The former ladies' champ, SuAn, and her seldom-seen advisor, New Mother, made their televised re-appearances here, as SuAn attempted to regain the championship. Eve was too tough a cookie, though, and she succesfully defended the gold. Eve pinned SuAn in 8:22.

Mike Hoffman interviewed Conrad Pain. Pain expressed no specific ill will toward former tagmate Paul Maul. He decided his turn was the best way to grab the attention of the fans and PWL Suits.

Match Number Two: BILLY JO JIVE and WATT SHROYER (w/ "Sweet" Susie Sunset) vs.
ADRIAN QUEEN and WILD PANSY, aka THE PINK FLAMINGOS (w/ Prince Vicious).

In the second televised match for both teams, each side maintained their perfect records. Adrian Queen and Wild Pansy secured the victory over their out-of-sync foes. Queen pinned Jive at 9:19 for the victory. In the postmatch interview segment, Prince Vicious announced it was "only a matter of time before my fine young men add some gold to their pink motif." As the segment was wrapping up, Billy Jo Jive screamed at Mike Hoffman that "it's all the fault of that egg-sucking dog Wrongway, man! Wrongway!"

Match Number Three: M. KLEATS (w/ Mondo Mbamba) vs.
SUPER HEAVY (w/ Sweet Daddy Williams)

This contest saw M. Kleats dominate the usually forceful Super Heavy. Perhaps Heavy had other things on his mind, but there was no stopping Kleats, as he plowed through his opponent and took the win via pinfall at 6:56. After the bout, Kleats was ambushed by Super Heavy's onetime tag partner, Brown Hornet. As Mondo and his other wrestlers tended to M. Kleats in the ring, Mike Hoffman chatted with a loud Sweet Daddy. Williams crowed that he has revived the hottest tandem in wrestling history, Super Heavy and the rechristened "Super Hornet."

Match Number Four, North American tag championship:
DONNIE GOSSETT and BLACKMALE, aka SOUL GLO (champions) vs.
SHAGGY and FREDDY (challengers).

Watching this contest at ringside were the reigning Unified tag champions, Reynaldo Guerrera and Lars Lundquist. Certain male fans were disappointed over the absence of their valet, The Woman Monique. It appeared that both teams in the match were distracted by their presence, and the in-ring action was not up to their usual standards. Blackmale pinned Freddy in 11:22 to retain the championship for Donnie Gossett and himself. After the match, all three teams challenged one another. After the dust settled, it appeared that Shaggy and Freddy would challenge for the Unified tag championship, either at the next PWL TV show, or next house show run.

Match Number Five: SOUPSPOON vs. ENCYCLOPEDIA BRAWN.

The eyes of the wrestling world were watching this match featuring two relative newcomers to the PWL. Don't be deceived by the names of these wrestlers. Although Brawn has the brawling skills down pat, it was Soupspoon who controlled the technical aspect of this match. Soupspoon won this match, defeating Brawn by submission in 10:18.

Match Number Six, Six Man Tag Match:
SMOOTH RUDY, TANKA SATCHMO, and RUSSELL BRUTE (w/ Mondo Mbamba) vs.
BUBBA SHAKESPEARE, DWAYNE, and T-BOY.

It was time for the match fans had waited two entire weeks to see and forget immediately afterwards. It should come as no surprise that the more experience, jelled group of Mondo Mbamba's army steamrolled over their opponents, with Rudy pinning T-Boy at 11:29 to secure the win for his side.

Match Number Seven: FAT ALBERT vs. ELMO BLATCH.

The PWL Legend against the former UWF champion. Elmo Blatch surprised quite a few people with this match, perhaps even himself. He caught Fat Albert off-guard with a flying shoulderblock, and Albert stumbled out of the ring. Referee Tom Tate administered the PWL standard 20-count, and Elmo Blatch won the match by countout in 10:44.

Match Number Eight, North American heavyweight championship:
EXTERMINANS (champion) vs.
WILSON FISK (challenger)

Though both participants in this bout shared a common bond (despisal of The Terror), that didn't get in the way of a great match for one of the most coveted championships in wrestling. Without the distraction of their foe Terror, Exterminans and Fisk put on an incredible match. It could be the beginning of a great "friendly" feud between the two, as this main event match went to a 20-minute draw.
