PWL BIGTIME LIVE RESULTS

MONDAY, JUNE 19, 2000 - ALFRED E. NEUMAN ARENA - SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH.

KERMIT THE FROG interviewed World heavyweight champion THE TERROR. Noting that it had been exactly one year since he won his first PWL World title, he claimed to have driven PLAGUE, STRIKE FORCE, RONALD McDONALD, THE MIDNIGHT EXPRESS, and THE TRAIN out of the PWL. He further noted that he had pinned FAT ALBERT, JOE THE GIANT, GENERAL ZOD, SETH, and everybody else that the PWL had "thrown at him." He figured that he would retire as champion, since there was nobody left for him to utterly destroy. At that moment, the voice of MONDO MBAMBA was heard over the loudspeakers. "I told all of you people, and you too, Frog, that I would have my big announcement this week. I know that all of you were waiting with anticipation, but since this pathetic Terror has decided to shoot his mouth off here tonight, it wouldn't be wise to unveil the secret just yet. The PWL can just keep waiting, and Terror can just start fearing the wrath that Mondo Mbamba will unleash on him."

First Match: MRS. BUTTERWORTH pinned THUMBELINA (with AUNT RHODY) in 3:27 to retain the Women's World championship.

• Fairly straightforward bout. The highlight followed the match, when AN UNKNOWN LARGE WOMAN joined Rhody and T-Lina in a 3-on-1 beatdown of the champ. Apparently Rhody has a new talent in her stable.

Second Match: THE WHO-NEE-2 MEN defeated THE SEXECUTIONERS (DON JEREMY and BUCK NAKED) in 4:55 when HUMAN TORNADO (teaming with SETH) pinned Buck.

• The WN2 Men allowed Seth and Human Tornado to buy their spot in this matchup. Like last week, the WN2 Men get the official "W" for this bout.

Kermit interviewed GENERAL ZOD, who promised that NON would see the error of his ways and reform THE NEW ORDER in a matter of time. Zod was then attacked by his Kryptonian foe as they brawled all over the backstage area.

Third Match: RUFUS VAN PELT and BILLY JO JIVE (with "Sweet" SUSIE SUNSET) defeated IGGY and SIGGI SHROYER when RVP pinned Siggi in 5:39 to retain the North American tag team championship.

• A possible feud could be brewing, as AA watched this title contest on a monitor they stole from CAP'N CRUNCH. They muttered something about "defeating Rufus Van Pelt and Billy Jo Jive and winning the North American tag team titles." Inside sources are still unsure what those comments mean.

Fourth Match: STARSHINE HIPPIE pinned SKELETOR in 6:19.

• Starshine continued to climb the heavyweight ranks with this victory here. Sources say Starshine could soon challenge SCHOOLHOUSE ROCKY for that #! contendership to the NA title.

Kermit interviewed LONG SWEET LIPS. They had no idea where Mondo was, or what his big secret was. M. KLEATS expressed his desire to bring home some singles' gold, while FOOT and TANKA SATCHMO announced their plan to another tag title reign, be it of the North American or World variety.

Fifth Match: NC-17 (DIRK MERCURY and TRIPLE X) defeated AA (AL COHOLIC and JUSTIN TOXICATED) by disqualification in 6:04 when THE TERROR interfered.

• After Terror made his attack, he announced that he was the one responsible for bringing AA in, and with four men like AA and POP on his side, he was certain he would reign over the PWL for as long as he wanted. Cue Terror's pesky friend CAP'N CRUNCH, who assured Terror that he would help his hero out any way he could. Terror allowed the Cap'n to let himself be carried away by Al and Justin, who tossed Crunch in the back of FAT ALBERT's rusted-out 1978 Plymouth Duster.

Sixth Match: FAT ALBERT defeated GRIMACE by submission in 7:47.

• Albert whipped Grimace all around the arena in this match. Albert felt personally offended at Grimace's attempts to hurt him physically in last week's tag match, and Albert felt a little Fat Attack was in order. When NON arrived afterwards to help his new friend Grimace, GENERAL ZOD showed up, and he and Fat Albert chased their rivals to the backl like good babyfaces should.

Kermit interviewed SCHOOLHOUSE ROCKY. The Schoolhouse Rock said that he was unimpressed by the rise of Starshine Hippie, and the "transitional champion" BIG SID SMITH. SHR called Sid out for a title shot next Monday night.

Seventh Match: SUPER HEAVY pinned GENERAL ZOD (with URSA) in 8:11.

• Zod took control of the match, but Non and Grimace interfered while the beefy back of referee BURT WEMBLEY was turned the other way. Non and Grimace demanded thanks from Super Heavy for their help, but he chased the two to the back, much the same way Albert and Zod had done in the previous segment.

Your Main Event: LONG SWEET LIPS (M. KLEATS, FOOT, and TANKA SATCHMO) defeated THE TERROR and THE PILLARS OF PAIN (GOLEM and QUARTZ) in 13:46 when Foot pinned Golem.

• This match seemed to cement LSL's jump to main-event status. Kleats held his own against the heavyweight champion, while the tag champs were outgunned by Foot and Satchmo's rapid-fire delivery of moves. Perhaps the sheer brilliance of LSL in this match will far outshadow what suprises their manager has in store for the PWL.
