April 21, 2000 - Flyboy Auditorium, Cincinnati, Ohio.
First Match, Midgets' World championship: NAUGA (champion) vs. MINI TRAPEZOID (challenger). The return of the smaller Trap was intended to provide a tough match for the worthy champion, but Nauga had other plans. Nauga pinned Trapezoid following a moonsault in 4:10.
Second Match, North American tag team championship: RUFUS VAN PELT and BILLY JO JIVE (champions, w/ "Sweet" SUSIE SUNSET) vs. BUTCH and BOZO (challengers, w/ HERMAN). The defending champions would likely have had the match won even without the ringside interference of IGGY and SIGGI SHROYER. As it turned out, RVP and BJJ remain your NA tag champs, as Jive pinned Butch following some under-handed double-team move in 6:12.
Third Match, 3-Way Match, Women's World championship: DARK ANGEL (champion, w/ CAP'N CRUNCH) vs. MRS. BUTTERWORTH (challenger, w/ WAFFLE HOUSE) vs. THUMBELINA (challenger, w/ AUNT RHODY). Dark Angel proved here why she has been the most dominant female grappler in recent memory. She pulled off both pinfalls to retain the ladies' strap, pinning Thumbelina in 5:27, and polishing off Mrs. B in 8:11.
Fourth Match: THE ELECTRIC MAYHEM (DR. TEETH and FLOYD PEPPER, w/ ANIMAL, ESMERALDA, and ZOOT) vs. THE SEXECUTIONERS (DON JEREMY and BUCK NAKED). For ateam that showed incredible intensity upon returning to the PWL, Teeth and Floyd have yet to really back up their talk with wins. Don and Buck seemingly coasted to a win here, as Buck pinned Teeth following a Bread Shot in 9:18.
Fifth Match: SUPER HEAVY "The Obese Luchador" vs. SKELETOR (w/ ORKO). This match was well received by the fans, as both combatants clearly gave their all in this match. PWL experience was the difference, however, as Skeletor eked out a win against his gargantuan foe, pinning Heavy in 11:24 after TOL was just too worn out to continue.
Sixth Match, World tag team championship: THE PILLARS OF PAIN (GOLEM and QUARTZ, champions, w/ DARK ANGEL and CAP'N CRUNCH) vs. SETH and HUMAN TORNADO (challengers). When POP regained the tag straps on Monday, it was noted that their experience as a tag team overcame the power and ability of Seth and Tornado. The challengers put up a much stronger fight here, with POP narrowly escaping on two counts several times. These two teams have quickly developed a hatred for each other, and it was evident here as both teams repeatedly ignored the warnings of referee BURT COOPER to curb the rough stuff. When the teams began issuing warnings of their own to Cooper, he became frightened and ran away to the safety of the dressing rooms. The fight continued until PWL President GENE WEST showed up and stopped the match at 11:36, claiming the four men were too dangerous and he did not want to see anybody in the stands injured. At this point, out stormed World champion THE TERROR, who knocked West silly with an old glass bottle of 7-Up. Terror then decked Cap'n Crunch just for the hell of it, and attempted to start a riot in the crowd by hurling general insults concerning Cincinnati sports franchises at the fans.
Seventh Match, North American heavyweight championship: COOLEROY (champion) vs. SCHOOLHOUSE ROCKY (challenger). SHR was in no mood to insult the crowd this evening. He took it to the champion from the outset and devastated C-roy with impressive takedown moves and submission attempts, mostly involving judo-style armbars and leglocks. Cooleroy regained his composure and engaged in an all-out assault on Rocky, and the fans were really enjoying this match, so it should come as no surprise when the screw-job arrived in the form of BIG SID SMITH. Sid, along with MR. McMASTER, attacked both champion and challenger, causing referee TONY PLOW to rule the match a no-contest at 10:23. Plow was rewarded for his decision with an over-the-top-rope chokeslam from BSS.
Eighth Match, Your Main Event, World heavyweight championship: THE TERROR (champion, w/ DARK ANGEL and CAP'N CRUNCH) vs. FAT ALBERT (challenger). These two will obviously never like each other, and their on-again, off-again feud continued in this main event matchup. While Fat Albert did not have anybody at ringside, he did eventually have help later in the match. Terror had control for most of the first ten minutes, but Albert turned the tide and was on a roll until about 13 minutes in, when interference from Terror's sidekicks switched the bout back to the champ's grip. Suddenly, GENE WEST returned, and about halfway to the ring, motioned for somebody in the back. And who should arrive but GENERAL ZOD and NON! The three strolled to the ring and startled the World champion to the point that he became a little too concerned about their presence. Fat Albert took advantage of the situation, and once again had Terror on the run. Noticing his boss was in trouble, Cap'n Crunch climbed into the ring and tried to help Terror. He swung a bronzed box of Peanut Butter Crunch at Fat Albert's legs, but lost his grip and Crunch's prized item instead struck referee ARTHUR FIGGIS in the face. Figgis called for the bell, and the attack was on. Not one side against the other, though. Both sides, as well as the crowd, became severely angry at Cap'n Crunch for ruining a perfectly good World title match that, as far as everybody knew, was supposed to have a clean finish of some sort. The show ended with poor Cap'n Crunch running between people's legs in an attempt to escape Cincinnati alive.
