FROM THE PWL PLINKO HALL IN ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI.
In the curtain-jerker, DR. DEMENTIA pinned GUS STANKO following a Twisty-Turny Thing in 5:47.
BEN TRAYMOR defeated THOON by submission with a Halloween Hangover in 4:28.
The Terror and The Pillars of Pain cut an interview from backstage. They made several boastful yet incoherent remarks involving their six-man tag match this evening, WrestleRama, the Suits, and several butchers' aprons.
For the Midgets' World championship, titlist CAP'N CRUNCH retained his belt when he pinned new PWL arrival SLUGGO following a spining full-nelson in 9:24.
SKELETOR continued his winning ways, pinning MR. SANDMAN following a somersault legdrop in 8:49.
The Train, Fat Albert, and General Zod were interviewed by Guy Smiley backstage. They essentially promised a victory in the six-man tag, after which they would enjoy a huge banquet, paying for it with some of Mrs. Butterworth's garage sale money.
It was another successful title defense for Women's World champion DARK ANGEL as she pulled off the win against MRS. BUTTERWORTH. Angel reversed Butterworth's backbreaker, turning it into a surprise bulldog for the pin and win in 10:17.
BIG SID SMITH "The Neighborhood Bully" is still undefeated in the PWL, this time getting a win by pummeling independent toughman HOGFACE. BSS earned the submission victory with a cross-face chicken wing at the 7:07 mark. After the match, Smith and manager "Mean Old" MR. McMASTER challenged both Terror and Cooleroy to title matches, to which neither man responded.
STARSHINE HIPPIE is still your World cruiserweight champion, getting a pinfall win over cruiserweight great ? (QUESTION MARK) in 13:53. This match was notable in that ? was able to power out of the SHSHoTP, thereby shocking the crowd into thinking they had just witnessed a deviation from the script. Either way, Starshine scooped up the win to retain the strap.
GRIMACE bullied his way to the ring. After taunting some needy children at ringside with french fries, Grimace loudly suggested he was worthy of a title match. No PWL belt-holder answered his challenge, but NON sure did. To the fans' unanimous approval, he ran to the ring and proceeded to tear the purple God-knows-what down to size. Non scored the pinfall win at only 2:44 following a running powerbomb. As Non celebrated in the stands with the drunks, Grimace screamed with fury and ran to the back.
Backstage, Ursa was busy watching Suede Simpson eating a watercress sandwich when Grimace ran through, knocking Suede and the sandwich to the floor. Ursa then punched out Grimace for ruining her entertainment. Also, The Terror threw apples at Cap'n Crunch for no apparent purpose, Starshine Hippie arm-wrestled Mondo Mbamba over the last piece of pizza, and PWL Maintenance repaired the floor after Fat Albert attempted jumping jacks.
It was champions versus champions for the World tag team championship in this match. World champs NC-17 defended against North American belt-holders RUFUS VAN PELT and BILLY JO JIVE (with, of course, "Sweet" SUSIE SUNSET). RVP and BJJ surprised Dirk, X, the fans, and perhaps themselves by controlling the pace of the match the entire way. Just as they were going to set up the win for the titles, out came THE FABULOUS HORNER BROTHERS to provide interference. RVP and BJJ missed their patented Double-Team Finisher, and Dirk Mercury executed a flawless sunset-flip for the victory at the 22:19 mark. After the match, and enraged RVP and BJJ attacked the FHB when a large, white-haired man and a woman in a wheelchair showed up at ringside. The man got in the ring and helped the FHB turn the tide, and Rufus, Billy, and Susie escaped to the back, shouting at the Horners and their new friends.
Next it was the battle of former teammates as THE SEXECUTIONERS took on two of the LONG SWEET LIPS (TANKA SATCHMO and FOOT). Although Satchmo and Foot have known each other for years, Don Jeremy and Buck Naked's tag team experience was too much for the LSL, as the lewd ones pulled off the victory in 10:58, a pinfall for Don on Satchmo following Jeremy's noted Bread Shot splash. M. Kleats helped his LSL-mates gang up on Don and Buck after the contest, but the victors wisely walked to the dressing rooms. Kleats' appearance in the ring was a perfect segue into...
The North American championship bout between M. KLEATS and defending champion COOLEROY. Foot, Satchmo, and Mondo Mbamba stayed at ringside for this match, which degenerated into an ambush once Cooleroy took control. The champ retained the belt with a DQ win in 7:45 when Kleats and friends attacked Cooleroy in a four-on-one attack. They were chased away when Human Tornado and Seth arrived to save the champion. Mondo's contingent walked to the back gloating, saying that it'll be "all too easy" at WrestleRama.
And now, the Main Event of the Evening, the six-man tag team contest pitting World heavyweight champion THE TERROR and THE PILLARS OF PAIN (GOLEM & QUARTZ) against the face trio of THE TRAIN, FAT ALBERT, and GENERAL ZOD. For the heels, DARK ANGEL and CAP'N CRUNCH were at ringside. For the good guys, it was PWL President GENE WEST, NON, and URSA. The match see-sawed for the first eight minutes, and everybody was anticipating the moment when Terror and Train would be in the ring to face each other. The faces took control of the match about ten minutes in, and as Fat Albert and Zod held The Terror, Zod tagged in The Train. This was all The Train needed: chop, chop, chokeslam, and a top-rope powerslam. One, two, three, and just like that, Train got one up on the World champion with a pinfall victory in 11:14. The babyfaces chased the heels to the back, with Golem and Quartz carrying their leader to the back. Though confused, Terror was conscious enough to blame the loss on Cap'n Crunch. As Dark Angel slapped the Cap'n around, Train, Albert, Zod, and the rest celebrated in the ring, confidet that the PWL will soon see the end of The Terror's reign on top.
