PWL House Show Results - February 14, 2000.
FROM THE PWL PLINKO HALL IN ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI:
- The show began with World heavyweight champion THE TERROR
and his usual bad-mouthing of PWL fans and employees. THE
TRAIN showed up and the two had an impromptu brawl,
eventually broken up by PWL Suits.
- In the first match of the evening, World cruiserweight
champion STARSHINE HIPPIE defeated "Road Pigg"
FRANK JAMES by submission in 6:00. Accompanying James was
FILTH E. PIGG, ULTIMO PUERCO, and MISS PIGGY.
- BIG SID SMITH (with MR. McMASTER) pinned DR. DEMENTIA in
2:07.
- The Train returned to cut a promo with PWL President GENE
WEST. West promised Train a shot at the World title
sometime in the near future. In the back, The Terror
appeared unfazed by this announcement, guzzling 7-Up with
DARK ANGEL, GOLEM, and QUARTZ, while all four made CAP'N
CRUNCH clean the mess POP made in the dressing room
earlier.
- BIG HEAD GUY and FAT DUDE secured a rare win, defeating
BILLY JO JIVE (with "Sweet" SUSIE SUNSET) and
ORKO (substituting for RUFUS VAN PELT). Fat Dude pinned
Orko in 3:55. Afterwards, Jive and Sunset attacked Orko
for losing the match, until SKELETOR ran in for the save.
- Midgets' World champion CAP'N CRUNCH took time off from
doing Terror's work to make a successful title defense.
This time, the crazed Crunch pinned COUSIN ITT in 4:10.
- Backstage, Terror berates some PWL Suits when JOE THE
GIANT walks by. Terror asks JTG about K.C. COLOSSUS,
Terror's opponent for later. JTG says, "Oh, yeah,
Colossus... strong guy, not the brightest in the world,
but he can take you to the limit if you're not careful.
Oh, and he's bald, too." Terror replies, "Bald
and not very bright? Is he related to us?" JTG and
Terror look into the TV camera, confusedly, when Terror
decides to beat up the cameraman for the fun of it. JTG
walks off, laughing.
- Women's World champion DARK ANGEL easily turns away the
challenge of THE SORCERESS, pinning the former He-Man
ally in 2:57.
- SETH destroys MR. SANDMAN, BEN TRAYMOR, and BOOMPAW in a
handicap match, making Mr. S and Traymor submit to over-the-shoulder
backbreakers, while simultaneously pinning Boompaw with a
foot on the chest in 3:44.
- More backstage: As Terror tries to break into a vending
machine, PWL Trainer BIG STEWIE happens by. Terror asks
him what this Colossus guy is like. Stewie goes into a
long, boring speech about TV Guides, so Terror leaves him
alone and walks off to yell at some autograph-seeking
children.
- For the number-one tag team contender ranking, THE
PILLARS OF PAIN (GOLEM and QUARTZ) defeat THE
SEXECUTIONERS (DON JEREMY and BUCK NAKED) by pinfall when
Quartz pins Naked in 12:15.
- North American heavyweight champion COOLEROY retains his
strap with a victory over M. KLEATS (with MONDO MBAMBA).
Cooleroy pinned Kleats in 11:22, after which Cooleroy was
attacked from behind by the returning GRIMACE.
- World tag team champions NC-17 (DIRK MERCURY and TRIPLE X)
proved they deserve to be the tops in tags, defeating
North American tag champs THE FABULOUS HORNER BROTHERS in
13:27. The FHBs showed why they are one of the dominant
tag teams today, but couldn't find an answer to the wily
World champions. The finish came when Mercury pinned Old
Weird Horner.
- In Your Main Event, World heavyweight champion THE TERROR
remained the scourge of professional wrestling by pinning
the veteran grappler K.C. COLOSSUS following the
trademark Terror Spike in 7:44. Terror celebrated his win
by heelishly taking popcorn and candy from the needy
children at ringside, who had been hoping to see their
hero K.C. win the World title for all of them. The
children went home happy, however, as THE TRAIN made
another appearance, beating up The Terror for all of the
PWL fans to enjoy.
