PWL IN YOUR HEAD 2: Results for July 31, 1999.
First off, the results of the undercard:
-
THE ILLUSTRATORS (TIBOR and HAWLEY) defeated THE ELECTRIC MAYHEM (DR. TEETH
and FLOYD) in 4:27 when Hawley pinned Floyd.
-
STARSHINE HIPPIE defeated ULTIMO PUERCO by submission in 7:03.
-
HURRICANE JACKSON and FILTH E. PIGG wrestled to a 15-minute draw.
-
SETH pinned GRIMACE in only 1:44. Seth continued to pummel Grimace
until World champion RONALD McDONALD made the save.
-
THE ARCHIES then took the stage, with a rendition of their hit song "Sugar,
Sugar." Guest commentator THE TERROR quickly tired of the singing, and
stormed the stage with his chair. Terror destroyed the set, and made
bloody messes out of ARCHIE, JUGHEAD, and REGGIE, leveling each with a
Terror Spike. He threatened one apiece for BETTY and VERONICA, but
they ran off, crying and screaming. For the first time in his PWL
career, Terror received a standing ovation from the fans for his actions.
-
In their PWL debut, THE SEXECUTIONERS (DON JEREMY and BUCK NAKED) defeated
former champions THE TANGLEFEET, as Jeremy pinned TF2 in 4:56.
-
Also making an impressive PWL debut, M. KLEATS defeated DRUNK THE CLOWN
by submission in 3:16.
-
HUMAN TORNADO was in control of his match from the outset, pinning BIG
GANGSTER in 5:25.
-
A quick look backstage showed SETH brutalizing several PWL guests, as film
director ALAN SMITHEE was unconscious on the floor, and Seth was squeezing
the goodness out of THE HAMBURGER HELPER HAND.
Now for the championship matches:
-
CAP'N CRUNCH held on to the Midgets' World championship, defeating ORKO
by pinfall in 6:16.
-
URSA retained the Women's World championship against DARK ANGEL and ELIZA
BLADE, as Ursa pinned Angel in 7:18. Both THE TERROR and PLAGUE attempted
to help their respective ladies, but were thwarted by the returning NEW
ORDER (GENERAL ZOD and NON). It appears as if the onetime Luthor
Triple Threat is back together in the PWL.
-
DUH CHEE is the new World cruiserweight champion, pinning VENOM in 14:27
to capture the gold.
-
THE TERROR made his presence known once again, distracting STRIKE FORCE
(BEAST and CARNAGE) in their title defense against HAARLEM HEAT (BRIAN
and LARRY) and THE PILLARS OF PAIN (GOLEM and QUARTZ). The distraction
helped out both challengers, but it was the Heat that came out on top,
with Brian pinning Carnage after a chair shot on Carnage by POP's Golem.
Time of the match was 10:23, as Haarlem Heat are your new World tag team
champions.
-
Back to the locker rooms, we see SETH continuing his assault on PWL celebrity
guests. R5-D4 is knocked over in a corner of the room, with his legs
missing. Meanwhile, Seth is using one of the robot's legs for batting
practice purposes, taking out each of the LETTER PEOPLE one by one.
-
THE TERROR continued his evening of interference, confusing North American
champion PLAGUE to the point that the champion chased Terror back to the
locker room. This gave FAT ALBERT the clearance to give WAFFLE HOUSE
a running avalanche, followed by a big splash. Three seconds later,
The Fat One is the new North American champion, in a time of 9:05.
-
TERROR returned to the commentators' table for the World heavyweight title
match between champion RONALD McDONALD and challenger JOE THE GIANT.
Joe was controlling the match, and appeared to be on the verge of his third
PWL World title, when the match came to a sudden, disappointing end.
GRIMACE ran to the ring, attacking Joe, and Ronald and Grimace double-teamed
JTG. He probably didn't need it, but Terror came to the Giant's aid,
and Joe and Terror chased away the champion and his once-again-friend.
They left the ring separately, but it appears as if Joe and Terror are
on the way toward reforming their alliance. BTW, Joe wins by DQ in
12:29.
