COOLEROY emerged victorious in the five-man elimination match. A brief rundown:
JOE THE GIANT and HUMAN TORNADO teamed up to wrestle THE PILLARS OF PAIN (GOLEM and QUARTZ). The fact that POP and JTG are allies did not deter either side from tearing into each other. The match resulted in a thirty-minute draw. The contest was well worked by all four wrestlers, and the fans in attendance in Boonville cheered and applauded heartily at the conclusion. All four men shook hands, much to the crowd's approval. A rematch between these two teams is very likely.
STRIKE FORCE (BEAST and CARNAGE) and partner VENOM made quick work of FU, THE BIG HEAD GUY, and THE FAT DUDE. The CMI members were on the offensive from the outset, and never let up. Fu was easy pickings for the Eliminator, and he was pinned by Carnage in 4:03. A highlight of this match was Venom moonsaulting over the top rope, landing squarely on The Fat Dude. It was a moment that had to be seen to be truly appreciated.
The match between North American champion PLAGUE and challenger WAFFLE HOUSE turned out to be more competitive than expected. Waffle had Plague on the run for a minute or two, even managing a two-count on the champion. Plague was quickly able to turn the tide, and had Waffle House in position for a sound defeat when World champion Terror arrived, blindsiding Plague for no good purpose with a 240-can case of 7-Up. The ref immediately called for the DQ, and as Plague chased the champion back to the dressing room, Waffle House was helped out by PWL Suits. Plague is your winner, time of the bout 8:23.
World heavyweight champion THE TERROR returned for his title match against
the resurging RONALD McDONALD. This match went back and forth for
several minutes, with the crowd firmly rooting for the hamburger pitchman.
Terror took control of the match, and as before, illegally slam Ronnie
Mac's head into the case of carbonated goodness, sitting below the turnbuckles
in a corner of the ring. At this point, Plague returned to the ring.
Valet DARK ANGEL starting screaming to the referee to get Plague out of
the area, but the referee decided to start jawing with her. With
this, Plague entered the ring uncontested and blasted Terror with a right
to the noggin. As Terror staggered about, Plague grabbed the case
of 7-up and bashed the champion over the head with it. Plague scrambled
out of he ring, and the confused Terror tried to fight, but Ronald McDonald
easily caught hi off guard with a jumping DDT. The referee turned
around, sees the cover, and makes the count: one, two, ... THREE!
Ladies and Gentlemen, in 10:44, your winner, and NEW PWL WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT
CHAMPION, RONALD McDONALD! As Ronald celebrated in the ring with
his fellow wrestlers, Plague popped open a 7-Up, took a swig, and proceeded
to spew it out. He tossed the can on the floor, and stormed to his
dressing room, the fans cheering him all the way.
