Ephesians 1:13 In whom you also, having heard the word of the truth,
the gospel of your salvation, in Him also believing, you were sealed
with the Holy Spirit of the promise, (14) .unto the redemption of the
acquired possession, to the praise of His glory.

Word of Ministry
What happened after we believed? We were sealed with the Holy Spirit
of the promise. Every Christian has the Holy Spirit as the seal. It is
very obvious that the Holy Spirit does not belong just to some special
Christians and that only specially sanctified Christians have life.
Verse 13 says that all who have heard the gospel of salvation and who
have believed, have received the Holy Spirit as the seal. This proves
that the seal of the Holy Spirit is something that all Christians have
in common.
God has put a seal on you, proving that you belong to Him. God put the
Holy Spirit in you as a seal. All those who have the Holy Spirit
belong to God. All those who do not have the Holy Spirit do not belong
to God. At the time a person is saved, God does a sealing work on him
and puts the Holy Spirit within him to prove that he is of God.
This seal will last unto the day of redemption. What is the day of
redemption? Romans 8 says that the day of redemption is the day when
the Lord Jesus will come back. The seal of the Holy Spirit remains in
us until the coming again of the Lord Jesus. Today if a man says that
he can lose his salvation and perish, then I will ask him what he will
do with the seal of the Holy Spirit. Since God has said that we have
been sealed by Him, there is nothing we can do to remove this seal.

A Prayer
Thank You, Father God, for sealing me with Your Holy Spirit. I rejoice
today because I know that I belong to You. I pray for _____ who has
also
believed into Christ. Show them that because they have received the
sealing
of the Spirit, they cannot lose their salvation. Amen.

I am led to say this to you. When we give our lives over to Jesus, we are saying we accept the most precious gift anyone has ever given us and for that acceptance, we are in turn given salvation. The proving of this gift having been received is by the sealing of the Holy Spirit.(Eph 1:13)KJV. Some of us are then blessed even more by the receiving of other gifts. We may not all get the same gifts, but we are all joint heirs with Christ and that we will not loose.
I recently met a young man who testified of the calling on his life and the annointing that God had given him to preach the Gospel. The problem this man had was he strongly admits to being in the backslidden state. He is so sure that Our Father, God, has forsaken him. My daughter and I had to stop right in the middle of the sidewalk and pray that the delusion he is laboring under be removed and that he once again see the truth. He began to prophesy over my life and my daughters(Prov 1:23)NKJV and what he said was true,(Joel 2:28,29)NKJV but even after doing this, he still believed that God did not want him. I reminded him of Jonah(Jonah 1)NKJV and told him he was of the same frame of mind. I asked him how could you be used of God and be so sure God had forsaken him? He had no answer. He was starting to see that he was sealed by the Holy Spirit and he was and will be a child of God. Pray for all people who are being deceived by satan and let us help them to see that they are not lost and they are sealed and belong to God Almighty until the day of redemption.(Eph 4:30) May you be blessed and edified by the reading and understanding of the Holy Word.

Don't forget the Most Important Sacrifice that could have ever been made for mortal man. Let's not forget to tell God how much we appreciate what he gave up for us. I love Jesus and I know you do too. Let's show him our love and appreciation by doing something for someone you know represents us at that time ( SINNERS on our way to hell). By example, we can begin to teach the true meaning of what that precious sacrifice meant and what we would have lost had it not been made.
