Let's Pray for 2022
This has been a year of recovery,
A process that is painful and slow;
But we do not have to worry,
Because the person in charge we know.
2021 is leaving and a new year arrives,
As we go from the old year to the new
Let's be joyous and cling to faith,
Let's pray and remember all God can do.
Let's pray that this new year coming,
Finds us all healthy and wise;
Let's pray our lives are filled with hope,
And our level of satisfaction sees a rise.
Let's pray we love one another,
Just like Jesus taught us;
Let's pray we are willing to grow,
And avoid the devil's fuss.
Let's pray our nation will find the way,
To live for our God again;
Let's pray we can reach all men,
Before the world comes to an end.
Let's smile and laugh and sing God's praises,
Let's be strong and courageous in our walk;
Let's show the world we belong to God,
Let's keep Him present in our talk.
