God Sees Me

God sees me when I wake,
He sees me when I sleep;
God sees me when I laugh,
And He sees me when I weep.

He gives me hope in the morn,
He gives me peace at night;
He gives me joy all the day,
And gives me comfort in my fright.



He holds me through the night,
And protects me all through the day;
He gives me ideas and words,
He tells me what to say.



Even though I am far from perfect,
God shows me only His love;
I want to be like Jesus,
And one day join Him above.

Jesus died for my many sins,
So I owe Him so very much;
But my heart is all I have,
And I give it to Him as such.
