Corona virus, Covid-19,
You're the ugliest thing I've ever seen;
You scrambled our lives and made us sad,
Corona virus, you're nothing but bad.

You make us sick and take our lives,
You affect husbands, children and wives;
You show no mercy like our God above,
He gives us peace and shares His love.

You've got us trapped in our homes,
We cannot shop and cannot roam;
We cannot hug one another;
It doesn't matter son or brother.

We try to stay busy and out of sight,
We want to do what is right;
We spend time with Jesus, our God,
He can rule our world with a rod.

Easter is coming to celebrate alone,
For all of our sins He did atone;
We will sing His praises still,
Til the virus is gone at His will.
