Christmas Day

Christmas Day is differnt this year,
No children will walk my halls;
But in the quiet time alone,
I've broken down many walls.

I've spent precious time,
With my Lord as never before;
I've gotten to rest when needed,
And not be picking up the floor.

This season in life is filled with changes,
A new way will celebrate this day;
I will get closer to my Lord Jesus,
And by His side, I will stay.

Christmas music fills the air,
And candles burn so bright;
It is a glorious day,
And it will be a peaceful night.

Yes, Christmas Day is different this year,
But I've found beauty in this day;
I will celebrate my Lord's birth,
In a beautiful and quiet way.
