The Night Is Silent
The night is silent and dark,
It is filled with God's holy peace;
We celebrate the birth of His Son,
And our praises will never cease.
We put up all kinds of decorations,
We bring attention to the One;
We want all the world to know,
About the birth of God's only Son.
The bright red of beautiful poinsettias,
Remind us this little babe will bleed;
He will die on an ugly cross,
Why? He wants to save you and me.
As the circle of the wreath goes on forever,
So does God's love for all of us;
That is why we hang bright lights,
That is why we make a fuss.
So remember God's glorious gift,
Give joy and love to each other;
Jesus said all would know we are His,
If we will always love one another.
