I watch the birds as they fly,
And my mind is filled with awe:
Who could create such a beautiful creature,
That breaks gravity's laws?
The birds sing God's praises every morn,
Teaching me the very best way;
When I rise from my bed,
I should praise God each day.
The birds drink from the bird bath,
Reminding me to drink from the living water;
It refreshes my soul as nothing else,
I must remember I am His daughter.
Birds drink nectar from the blooming flowers,
Or gobble seed from the feeder;
I need to gobble God's precious Word,
So I can for Him be a leader.
Yes, bird watching teaches about our God,
It also gives me ways to live;
Birds lead me to my merciful Lord,
Who will always love me and forgive.
