Anyone who knows me knows that I am addicted to those little surveys that periodically make their rounds in email inboxes, so here I have combined a whole bunch of email surveys that tell you all you would ever want to know about my life. Hope you enjoy this! I sure enjoyed posting it! If you have suggestions of questions you think I should add, just email me!
1. Quiet or loud: I used to be the quietest person around, but now I can tend to be kinda loud! Quiet time is always nice too, though.
2. Short or tall: I guess I would consider myself tall. I’m right at 6’0”.
3. Weird or original: I am definitely weird and proud of it! Ask anyone who knows me!
4. Nice or mean: I hope I’m nice, but you’d have to ask others about that one.
5. Friendly or selfish: I only get selfish when it comes to circus peanuts!
6. Normal or special: “Special, special, everyone is special!” (Sorry, had a Barney moment there)
7. Smart or stupid: I'm "no Einstein," but I am "gifted."
8. Boring or fun: Again, that depends. Am I sitting in the library between classes (boring) or somewhere else?
9. Am I a psycho: I’ve only had to have one psychological evaluation!
10. Am I athletic: Not at all!
11. Am I a nerd: I sure so!
12. Am I a jerk: I wouldn’t think so.
13. Am I a player: Of what? War? Yes! Scattergories? Yes!
14. Am I two-faced: I think I only have one!
15. Am I obnoxious: Only with my family and closest friends!
16. Am I immature or mature: That depends on how you define your terms! I think a little immaturity is a good thing!
17. What will I be when I “grow up”: I used to want to drive trains. Then, I was going to be a vet. Now, I want to be a priest. Funny how varied life can be!
18. Will I get married: I'm thinking no, but who knows what the future holds…
19. What song describes me: “I Feel Like Chicken Tonight” (No, that would describe Doug! lol) I think I am best described by “Sometimes I Feel Like a Nut."
20. What animal am I most like: Hmm…a mule? (Becky understands that one!)
21. If I could have any other name, what would it be: I think I would like for my first name to be Patrick.
22. Screen name: You can catch me on Instant Messenger as dskillman2. I know this AlwaysShunned person, too. Talk to that one. He’s quite a character!
23. Where do I live: I live in a house in St. Louis, MO, United States of America
24. How many houses have I lived in: Two to my knowledge.
25. Who lives with me: Let’s see…Mom, Dad, Tom, Joe, Angie, Brian, Bandit (dog), Pipkin (Moo), Patches (Jem-Hadaar), and two birds whose names I still do not know!
26. Am I rich: Nope, but I know someone named Rich.
27. Do I ever have temper tantrums: Only when the fireworks don’t go “fooooooooo…..”
28. Do I work: Yep, St. Francis Xavier College Church
29. Do I like it: It’s nice. Very easy since I get to do homework while I work.
30. Do I go to school: Yep, Saint Louis University
31. Do I like it: I do. SLU has a great campus and an even better community! I think I made the right choice.
32. Do I have a lot of friends at school: I would say I have a good number. We sure have a lot of laughs!
33. Do I get in fights: Nah, I try to mind my manners!
34. Do I like fighting: No, never have, never will.
35. Do I have a bad temper: I don’t think so!
36. Do I play any sports: Well, do bowling and mini-golf count?
37. What do you do on Friday and Saturday nights: Well that really depends, it can go from watching VeggieTales or going to praise and worship at the seminary to bowling, mini-golfing, going out to eat, you name it!
38. What do you do when you sit at home: Usually sit and stare at a computer screen hoping someone will sign online that I can talk to!
39. Would I ever try to kill myself: No way! That thought never has and never will cross my mind! Life is too beautiful to ever consider ending it.
40. Do I have a b/f or g/f: I sure don’t!
41. Have you ever been in love: As I always say, I pity the person who hasn’t. Love comes in many shapes and sizes, so it’s hard not to be “in love.”
42. Do you think you will ever love: I already do!
43. What do you do for entertainment: Rent movies, goof around online, sled down wooden ramps on a half-finished back porch…(ok, so that was a one-time experience!)
44. What is your favorite TV show: I don’t know. I hardly watch anymore. I used to love ER and The Practice. Seventh Heaven seems to be the family favorite, although I can’t say I usually catch that one either!
45. What is your favorite radio station: Y98 is good. So is the River. And who doesn’t love Delilah on KEZK!
46. Favorite female pop artist: I might get some laughs for this one, but I like Celine Dion’s music.
47. Favorite male pop artist: Michael W. Smith does some good stuff!
48. Favorite female country singer: You know, I don’t really have one, but I can’t stand Shania Twain!
49. Favorite male country singer: Again, not a big country fan. Garth Brooks is ok, though.
50. Favorite movies: Armageddon, Field of Dreams, The Green Mile, The Sixth Sense…these are the best of the best.
51. Favorite weather: Storms are kinda cool to watch!
52. Rather be cold or hot: I would much rather be cold than hot and sweaty.
53. Favorite friend’s house: Doug wins the prize here!
54. Favorite room in a friend’s house: Doug’s basement – lots of fond memories there!
55. Favorite kind of car: I like the looks of a PT Cruiser.
56. Favorite color: Green, forest green
57. Favorite vacation spot: Alabama was really nice. Chicago is crazy fun, though!
58. Favorite smell: Anything besides dirty rabbit cages is good to me!
59. Favorite food: Circus peanuts rock! Nutritious, huh?

62. Hair color: Orange! Why do people say red when it’s orange?

66. Hobbies: I love playing piano, and I just recently took up guitar. I also tend to chat online a lot. I’m not a big reader, but I do enjoy reading. Also, I send lots of email stories and things!

68. Friends that look like you: Let’s see…there is that one guy…what’s his name again…oh yeah! Mike!
69. Who do you get advice from: God, friends, and family
70. You’ve dreamt about…: Many things, but I don’t remember a bit!
71. Boxers or briefs: Isn’t this a little personal? I’m not sure anyone would really want to know anyway…
72. Long or short hair: It’s pretty short.
73. Muscular arms: lol….that’s the funniest thing I’ve heard all day! Look at me, and you’ll know just how often I work out!

75. Tan or fair: I’m fair, but I think it’s unfair that I don’t tan…ironic!
76. Freckles or none: Freckles, I used to have a lot more. Thank goodness they’re finally going away!
77. Stubble or neatly shaved: That all depends on how crazy my week has been.
78. Accent or American: I don’t think I have an accent, but then people with an accent would think I do!
79. Chocolate milk or hot chocolate: Depends on the season
80. McDonalds or Burger King: Either way…they’re both good.
81. Coke or Pepsi: Pepsi is a little sweeter to me, and sweeter is always better!
82. Marry perfect lover or perfect friend: I'm sure both would be nice, but you have to look for the perfect friend first if you want it to be a meaningful relationship.
83. Rootbeer or Dr. Pepper: Actually, I prefer Mr. Pibb!
84. Cats or dogs: Dogs are much more enjoyable. Cats are too independent for me.
85. Mud or Jell-O wrestling: Hmm….Jell-O is always fun!
86. Cubes or none: Cubes are good, but crushed is even better!
87. Milk/Dark/White chocolate: I'm not a huge chocolate fan at all, but white chocolate is my favorite.

89. Skiing or boarding: Either way, I'm sure I'd injure myself and those around me. I've never tried either.
90. Biking or blading: Biking - even though I haven't ridden in years, I can actually keep my balance on a bike!
91. Cereal or toast: I'm not sure I have a preference here. Toast is good with butter and cinnamon/sugar. Cereal in general is pretty good, too.
92. Music type: Most of what I listen to is Contemporary Christian stuff, but I enjoy most pop stuff as well. Just no rap…
93. Night or day: I'm much more of a night owl. Way cool to be able to go outside and star gaze (as hard as that is in the city)
94. Bunk or waterbed: Actually, I would like a lofted bed to make more room for stuff.
95. Chewing gum or hard candy: I guess gum….especially big gum balls from the mall.
96. Motor or sail boat: Again, no preference. Either way, I'd sink if I fell out.
97. Light on or off: That all depends on what I'm doing, I guess….
98. Favorite number: 22
99. Favorite subject: I'm mostly a science and math-type person. I always like learning theology, too!
100. Favorite shoe brand: Again, again, again…no preference!
101. Favorite sport: Baseball is "The Game!" No if's, and's, or but's about it!
102. Funniest friend: Gee, I don't know. Doug is pretty darn hilarious!
103. Weirdest friend: I'm not sure one person could take this award home. We're all pretty goofy.
104. Truth or dare: When it comes down to it, nothing is better than the truth.
105. Ocean or pool: If I'm swimming, I prefer a pool. If I'm not, I prefer the ocean.
106. Cake or pie: I think I'm more of a cake person. Ask anyone and they'll tell you I make some killer brownies!
107. Love or lust: I think I'm gonna have to go with love on this one!
108. Silver or gold: "Make new friends, but keep the old." I like both.
109. Diamonds or pearls: There are much better things you can use money on.
110. Shaken or stirred: Well, if you look at this metaphorically, shaken would imply something shook someone up or shocked them. Stirred means that things get mixed up and exciting. So, stirred….final answer!

112. Armageddon or Independence Day: Armageddon
113. Sunset or sunrise: Sunset….I'm actually awake!
114. Shower or bath: It has been years since I have taken a bath!
115. Pizza or pizza rolls: The real thing is much better…pizza.
116. Do I like to talk on the phone: I do sometimes. I don't usually call people, though, so if you want me to talk on the phone, you'll have to call me!
117. Do I have my own line: Nope
118. Do I like to dance: Not really…at least not in public.
119. Have I ever thought I was going to die: I already know that I'm going to die. I can't remember ever feeling that I was close, though.
120. Do I sleep with stuffed animals: Not a single one
121. Have I ever broken/fractured a bone: No siree
122. Do I have any piercings: No
123. Do I wear braces: Never have and still don't
124. Do I consider myself a good listener: I think so. I like listening to what people have to say.
125. Can I swim: I have trouble even floating. Swimming is out of the question!
126. Do I sing in the shower: Only if someone's there to hear me.

128. What’s on my ceiling: A fluorescent light
129. What’s the color of my toothbrush: Green and white
130. What’s my worst injury: I had open heart surgery when I was two. I don't know if that is an injury, but it's probably my most serious medical occurrence.
131. What’s the hardest thing about growing up: Confusion, loneliness, and uncertainty. Everyone faces them at some point.
132. Do I believe in love at first sight: When it comes down to it, love isn't based on sight. It's based on something much deeper than that. To love someone, you have to actually "see" who they are.
133. Favorite place to be: If I could live in an empty, dimly lit church, I think I would. That's always such a peaceful place to be.
134. What do I wear to bed: Shorts and a t-shirt
135. What’s the best feeling in the world: True happiness based on trust in God and love for others and yourself
136. What is my pet peeve: People swinging their car doors open without looking to see if cars are coming.
137. Favorite animal and why: The prairie dogs are awesome! I want to own one!
138. Do I think you’ll be happy: I would hope so. Life is pretty tough without happiness.
139. Am I happy right now: Being the eternal optimist that I am, I'd have to say yes!
