Mystikal
Mystikal's real name is Micheal Tyler. He was born on September 22, and is currently 27 years old. He is a husband and father of 3. He grew up in the 12th Ward in New Orleans, and went to Cohen High School. In 1991, He got 8 months active duty in Desert Storm, and served time in military prison while there. While in prison, he came up with his rap alias (Mystikal), and wrote his first rap song "I'm Not That Nigga". Not long after his return from the gulf, Mystikal joined up with a local hip-hop crew called "The 39 Posse". Here, he would record his first single, featuring his sister. His sister, Michelle Tyler, died before he got his record deal with No Limit. She died on his birthday, September 22.They planned to sing all his songs together. They got to record one song together before she died, on his CD entitled "Mystikal". He was on Big Boy Records before No Limit, and had 2 CD's on that label called "Mystikal" and "Mind Of Mystikal". His first No Limit CD, entitled "Unpredictable", went platinum. His latest LP, "Ghetto Fabulous", released late 1998, also sold well. He is now in the group called the 504 Boyz, with Master P and Silkk. Their album, "Goodfellas", will be released August 31, 1999. Also, Mystikal will release another album next year.
