The Vegetarian Food Pyramid

Now there is a new pyramid; one that skips the flesh and includes beans, soy products, and nuts. Please use it when making food choices. Vegetarians have to take more steps than canivores to make sure they are healthy.

Suggested servings:

Bread, fruit, and vegetable groups- one of each at every meal.

Milk and bean groups- one of each a day.

Sweets- use very sparingly.
