Kill II This has to be one of the dodgiest names I've heard in ages, in the same league as Knightmare II. Despite this they seem to be quite a good band, and played a good set. They were all really getting into it, which is just as well because the music is like a cross between Pantera and Machine Head. Excellent powerful vocals, like a particularly angry Robb Flynn blast from the speakers backed by thick heavy guitar. An excellent vibe and a fun band. I bought their album, sadly titled 'Another Cross II Bare' (again, in the same league as Knightmare II's 'The Edge Of Knight'), and it's very good, if not a bit too similar to Machine Head. I had the two tapes play alternately and found it hard to tell the difference at points.
Kill II This - London Astoria - Monday 13th December 1999
Well, what can I say really, the gig sold out months in advance and touts were making £40 a ticket, yet I managed to walk up to the box office about 3 hours before the gig and pick up 2 tickets......Must have been my lucky day. It certainly was, Kill II This were amazing the best performance I've ever seen from them, From the moshpit I guess this wasn't only my opinion either. They even got stuck in snow on the way down!
