HIGHLIGHTS OF MEETING:
- Bill informed us that Webster Hills has a new scoreboard. Can’t wait to see it!
- Joe Herber from St. Michael was introduced to the members.
- Forms for Gym Availability and Team placement were passed out, to be returned Oct. 24th.
- We will be having a table at the CYC banquet this year on Nov. 7th. There will be a memorial to our District representative, the late Ben Averbusch.
- League fees will remain at $305 this year. Discussion will take place at the next meeting about raising the gym reimbursement fees.
- Introduced our Member-At-Large Pat Moore from St. Peter.
- Jim Moore will be working on compiling our rules in a standard readable format with clarifications of some of the more misunderstood ones.
- Father Mike Boehm has moved to Holy Infant and is no longer our district spiritual representative.
- Clinic dates were tentatively set for Our Lady of the Pillar on Dec. 19th from 1-3 pm. St. Joseph will also have one in December, and St. Mary Magdalen is looking into dates. We agreed to have the standard format of coaches’ meeting in the first hour and referees’ in the second hour.
- Bill also handed out eligibility and overage rules to clarify questions that might arise. It was pointed out that CYC ID cards are required for all players (except 4th grade) and ALL COACHES who must also have the district sticker (from attendance of the coaching clinics) on the back of the ID.
