Chapter thirty two

"Mey. If they don't stop whispering I'm going to have to kick some serious ass."

Mercy giggled.

"Stay cool."

"Trying."

The school they had just entered, had been so much larger then the one they used to go to.

Zac had gaped at it.

Zac had been put as a freshman in Highschool, who knew why. Maybe just because the kids on the other side of town were smarter then the ones on this side?

In either event, Dorin's last year of highschool would be this year, Mercy was a late sophmore, due to being held back in 6th grade, and Jordan was a junior.

Now they could deal with the abnormalities and inconveniences of highschool....together.

Zac really wanted to just reach behind him and smack one.

Annoyingly obnoxious as they were, he had to admit, it could be much worse.

They had arrived, on time for once, and had taken a look around the college like school. Quite large, and a lot of people.

"Where's your first class mey?"

He looked up at her, not quite sure whether or not he should just tag around with her, or find his own way.

"I have, uh, I have trig."

"Trig? Man! You are like...genius girl from hell!"

Some girls giggled as they walked by.

"I hate girls."

"Suuurrreee you do Zac."

He sighed.

He had to admit, the one nice thing about being famous, and a teenager, you had you pick of millions of girls. Some of them rather good looking.

"I think this is my first class."

Jeremy and Dorin had already disappeared with some of the hanson's friends they had met over the summer, and hanging around with them. They thanked the lord.

How else would they find their way around this, this thing?

"Okay mey, where do we go after this?"

"Someone will tell you zac."

He shrugged.

"And at lunch?"

"We have split lunches, for some reason, I have the second lunch instead of the first one, so, I'll be with Door and Jem, you're stuck by yourself bud."

Zac flapped his arms against his side.

"Meey! i don't know anyone yet!"

"You'll meet some, now get in there before your late."

He rolled his eyes, stubling in the class room he now stood in front of.

"Kirstin Abeda?"

What kind of name was Abeda?

"Here!"

"Dustin Brown?"

Oh how origonal.

"Here."

"Kyle Bernstin?"

Bernstin? What the hell was that?

"Here."

"Maggie Carnosch?"

Maggie? What the heck was this, the simpsons?

"Right here."

"Zac Dentra?"

What the heck....hey wait! That's me!

"ZAC DENTRA???"

giggling girls in the back corner......

"Uh, here."

Zac tapped his fingers. This was going to be an extremely long day. That was for sure. The teacher had started roll call, then would go onto class rules, then the sylabus, then, any other smack stuff that Zac really wouldn't pay any attention to in the first place.

Math. What a wonderful atribute to the world. NOT.

"Okay, I'm passing these papers out, have your parents sign them, and return them by friday."

Zac was just waiting for some one to say it, waiting, almost anticipating.

Wow! People in this school had respect! Or at least enough not to tell the world he didn't have parents.

Catching the several papers as they landed on his desk, zac piled them up, barely reading over any of them.

Mercy was already tired. School sucked. Everything about it sucked. Not one person had said 'hey, tell me something about you.'

It was all stares and giggles, whispers and points.

Mercy hated people.

She would of course be able to manage. She was girl. She could do it just dandy.

"Mercy Dentra eh, when did you guys start coming to school here?"

Thank ya teach! Make my life a whole lot easier!

"Uh, today."

Nodding approval, the teacher continued roll call.

Would this be an everyday thing? She hoped not.

"Boys, the school year, just started, lets not do anything to change my so far great reflection upon your personality."

Jeremy chuckled, Kevin, sitting next to him.

"Sorry, Mr.....Mr....."

"Call me Mr. Howard."

"Sorry Mr. Howard."

"Appologie accepted, what about you mr fletcher?"

Kevin blushed.

"Sorry Howard."

"Thank you."

Continuing his announcments, he walked around the class room, watching each of his new pupils.

"Music."

"Music has it's ups and downs, just like any other subject, Music theory, that's a whole different story. Music theory however, that's someone's own mind. The way you deal with music and the beats and tones you recognize, that's all set in your mind, the way you think."

Ramble ramble ramble....it was all ramble.

Dorin sat through this class like he wished he didn't have to, a whole year of this would surely kill the good fun meaning of music theory. Wait...music theory had never been fun.

"Any questions?"

Of course not. Every one and anyone who took this course took it because they knew what music theory was! Sheesh! Who wasn't thinking right about now?

Dorin wondered what he had to do today after school. record....no...too much of that all week. Sit on his butt? Sounded like a plan.

"How was schoooooolllllllll?"

"Shut up Han."

"No! I just want to know how your social life is going so far."

"Don't have one."

"I'm releived."

"SHould be....considering Im your only friend."

"OOOOOHHHH SURE!"

Pointing his finger at his friend, and each of them swatting eachother, they ran across the yard, kicking eachother.

"Let me guess, you had no fun whatsoever and don't plan on it the rest of the year?"

Dorin turned to Isaac.

"How'd you know dude?"

"It's a gift I have."

"Wonderful gift."

"You know, we could call it pyschicness."

"What?"

"Yeah, and someday, we can put together volumes of all the stuff we know."

"Uh...ike?"

"Yeah, make millions of course."

"Dude...Ike...are you on sugar?"

"And of course we'll have to put in there that we don't have accents....and we never will, everyone but us has accents. Not us."

Dorin stared at his friend.

"Kay Ike, whatever you say."

"Woah! Woah mey. Sheesh."

Giving Taylor a dirty look, she removed her hands from his butt.

"Whatttt?"

"Like, you just got home! And your already like..."

"Grabbing your butt?"

"Well, to put it bluntly."

"But it's so cute and so..."

"Yeah yeah, you tell me all the time, here.. 'and so firm.'"

Mercy giggled.

"Okay then."

"Anyway!"

"What did you do all day?"

"Nothing."

"No! You had to do something more exciting then me."

"Bet not. I watched soap operas."

"At least you didn't have to listen to anyone reciting class rules to you."

"Don't go to school."

"Oh really? What do you recommend I do?"

"Mmm. Dunno."

"Yeah. Dunno. Mr. insanity."

"Hey, your no outline of a perfect norm."

"Whatever!"

"I don't wanna!"

"Zac!"

"You know what! I had to sit in a boooooring class room all day while you sat and contemplated whether or not I should sing this for you! Who's job is the more boringer!"

"Boringer?"

"Oh!"

"Zac."

"Josh."

"Zaccccc."

"No...my name doesn't stretch."

"Sing it in the mike Zac."

"What if I don't?"

"I will have to walk in there and hurt you."

Zac Hanson sat thouroughly amused at his chair in the open studio.

He wouldn't dream of refusing to record. Nope. Someone always bigger and meaner made him. Well, not like he hated it.

"D man! Just sing already! I wanna leave!"

"Hey! Butt out big mouth! I'm making my authority known!"

"What authority! Your 12!"

"SO!"

Zac giggled.

"Here! An A!"

Zac rolled onto the floor laughing as his friend stood at the mike trying to perform an A sharp, unsuccessfully of course.

"Hey! Look Josh! He's makin' fun of me! Not fair!"

"ZAC! JUST SING A CHORD!"

Zac stuck out his tongue.

"Hey han! Shut up unless you wanna take my place!"

"No way!"

"Then shove it and die sissy girl!"

"AAAAAHHHHH WHATEVA!"

Swishing his hair around and placing his hand outstretched towards his friend.

"DIE NOW EVIL FIEND!"

Zac threw his headphones down on the music stand and raced from the carpeted room, throwing himself against the door and after Zac hanson.

"DAMN YOU GUYS!"

Josh watched as the two ran out the door of the building and down the street.

"So jem..."

Jeremy sat on the coffee table at nikki's house.

Turning his head toward her, she sat in his lap.

"What nik."

She kissed him on the cheek.

"You know, I don't see you alot anymore."

"Is that supposed to be a pun?"

She smiled.

"Jem! Oh dear. You should know..."

He picked her up from his lap, and carried her to her room.

"Josh I'm sorry dude...He'll get it when he comes home."

Dorin hung up the phone, sighing as he turned to isaac.

"That boy is going to die."

Isaac laughed.
