I couldn't believe it! I was right! They were Diamond Bay! And they were actually inviting us to sit with them! The most talented girl teen band ever! This was going to be a good day, I could just feel it.
"Thanks! Hey, do you think that you could autograph my CD for me?" I asked as I handed my CD to Jessica to sign. She took it and turned around to reach for her back-pack on the back of the chair. Then she pulled out a light blue 'Milky' pen and took out the little booklet from the cd and began writing on the cover. Then she passed it on to Lo lo. She signed it and passed it on to Bianca. Then it got back to me, and I read their messages
Jessica wrote:
Diamond Bay Forever!
Love always,
Jessica
Lo Lo wrote:
Bountiful luck,
Lo Lo
And Binks wrote:
Girl Power!
Binkies
I smiled and thanked them. Then carefully I put the booklet back into the CD case.
*JESSICA*
Oh my gosh, I couldn't believe it! These guys actually have heard of us! I didn't think that we were even heard of! We have only had about 5 gigs since July! And we only made about 30 of our independent CD's? So how on earth did they get one?
"So, how did you guys get one of our CD's? We only made 30!" I asked them.
"Well actually, in October, we were driving around in Fair Oaks when we saw this carnival type thing. So we stopped and looked around. It was an arts and crafts festival and we heard this music and singing that had just tons of heart and soul in it and the stage was rockin' so we decided to go check it out to see if it was just a tape or something." Jordan explained.
"Yeah, but we were really surprised to find out that these 3 teenaged girls were the ones rockin' the place." Clarke interrupted.
"So we bought one of your CD's that a red haired lady was selling behind the stage and we left." Zac chimed in.
"We really wished that we could've stayed and listened longer but we had to go and do a photo shoot." Jordan said and ended the story.
"Photo shoot? What do you mean?" I asked. I caught him glance at Clarke and he nodded.
That was it, I was caught. Now I was going to have to tell them who we really were. So I took a deep breath and prepared for my confession.
"Okay, Jordan, and Clarke aren't our real names." I paused. The girls sat up strait like they were expecting something. Like they already knew. "Our real names are Taylor and Isaac. Zac, well that's his real name. " I paused again so I could think of what to say next. "Okay, now I'm going to tell you something else now, but you all have got to promise not to scream or freak out or anything. All three of us are brothers, and our last name is Hanson. And well, we're the band Hanson." There, the truth was out. But my expectations were strangly not met.
