"Jessica! You got mail!" mom shouted from the house. I love getting mail so without even thinking, I started running to the house forgetting that I had my rollerblades on and almost went crashing into the door! Luckily I had caught the door handle and stopped myself, regained my balance, and bladed into the house to get my mail.
Mom had left it on the table, it was a standard sized envelope. I opened it and took out the folded piece of paper. I started to unfold the paper, and when I did, 2 tickets fell out. I picked them up and read one. It said," KIIS presents Hanson at the Hollywood Bowl" I smiled and tryed my best not to scream in front of mom. I sighed and put the tickets on the table so mom could see them and picked up the paper. It said," Hi Jessica, hope you enjoy the concert! Come the day before so you can watch the sound check! Just do what I told you. I hope to see you and Bianca there! From, Jordan"
Wow! the sopund check is only 4 days away! "I've got to call Bianca!" I said to myself. I ran as fast as I could to my room and punched in her number. She answered the phone after 3 impatient rings.
"Hi Bianca, It's Jessica!" I said.
"Oh hey girl, what's new?" She asked.
"Jordan came through! The tickets came! We're supposed to go in 4 days for the sound check and the next day the concert!" I yelled into the phone.
"Oh WOW Cool! My mom said she can drop us off and pick us up after on both days." She said.
"Alright, that'll be great! Gotta go now! Bye!" I said.
"Okay Bye!" She replied. And then we hung up.
