"Okay, before we go back to the stage, let's get Gus, I'm sure he wants to go out since he's been cooped up for a while." I said as we walked outside and locked the door. Then we walked to our door and opened the door. Then we walked in and we were greeted by a hyper dog. I patted him on the head and grabbed his leash. Hooking his leash to his collar, we rushed back outside and Binkies locked the door. Then we ran back to the stage and met back with Diana.
"Okay good, you're back. Oh and I see you've brought your little friend. Well, everything's all done now, but we're just going to sit and wait in the dressing room until they get back which will be in about 20 minutes okay." she said as she took Mackie by the arm and Zoe in her arm, and we all headed to the dressing room.
The time flew by in what seemed like seconds, and we heard a knock at the door. So I jumped up to get it, and Binkies grabbed Gus' collar since we took it off and layed it on the table in the corner next to our couch. Then I opened it and in walked Tay, Zac, and Ike.
"Hey guys, GREAT SHOW! I fully enjoyed every minute of it! And the gifts and the card, man, I have no idea how many tissues I went through tonight!" I said as they walked in and sat on the couch with their mom and Zoe.
"She's right! I gave them my tissue pack and they went through that in about 5 minutes during 'I Will Come To You!'" Diana said chuckling to herself.
"But it was a really great show guys, and they had a lot of really good reasons to cry. Boy, if I was their age, I would have cried too!" She exclaimed.
"Oh ma." Zac said as he did a little hand swipe thing and acted like he was imbarrassed.
Then Mackie, who was sitting on the floor playing with Gus along with Jessica and Avie, came over to us and sat right in between us.
" More dinosaws!" He said as he tugged on the sleeve of my Gap jacket.
I smiled and said, "Okay, why don't you go get those crayons and papers over there and we'll draw some dinosaurs." He did as he was told and he sat back next to us and we started to doodle.
"Well, it looks like you have a fan!" Tay said as he scooped up Zoe in his arms and started to play a sort of tickle game with her tummy, and she squeeled with glee.
"Oh, we had a nice little conversation about dinosaurs before the show started. And now, we're drawing them! It's fun!" I said looking up from my T-rex sketch.
"Oh, well that's good. He really likes dinosaurs." Isaac said.
"Yeah, I guess so!" Binkies said as Gus came over and sat near the couch in the middle of the room and Avie pounced on his stomach, then he looked up at her and layed his head back down.
"Well, I think it's about time we all hit the sack so we have enough time to load up the bus in the morning." Diana said as she got up and gathered the kids.
"Yeah, that sounds good to me." I said as I got up and handed my drawing to Mackie as he followed his mom out the door. We all followed Diana back to the rooms, stopping by the gate to look back at the stage, then we moved on.
"Oh, and before I forget, here's your spare key." I said handing Tay their room key.
"No, you keep it, they usually throw them away when the guests leave." he said pushing my hand with the key back towards my pocket.
"Really! Thank you." I said as I looked at it and slipped it back into my pocket. Then he put his finger in fromt of his lips and "shhh" ed me. I guess he didn't want anyone to know. Then smiling, we came to our rooms, then, hearding the four kids, Diana slowly made her way to their room and went it.
"Well, good night." I said to them as Ike unlocked the door.
"Okay, but make sure that you say good bye to us before we leave tomarrow okay." Tay said as we started to walk in, then I smiled my reply and went into our room and shut the door behind me.
"Oh my gosh!" Binkies half shouted and half whispered as she dropped her bags and slapped her hands on her cheeks. Then turning around to see what she was gauking at, I let my bags fall from my hands and put my hand in front of my mouth as Gus' leash slipped from my hand. We just stood there in silence looking at the sight!
