"I hope to talk to you soon! From, Jessica." I clicked the "Go" button and waited for my email to be sent. When it was done, I turned off my computer and went down stairs to join my parents for dinner. As I made my way down the hall, I could hear my parents arguing agian as usual. I didn't really feel like breakink up the fight this time so I just stood by the door and listened. "I don't care! You are not taking the house!" I heard my mom Debbie shout."I payed for most of the remodeling! And therefore I should get the house!" her dad Bill shouted back. "You already got the car! Now you want the house too! I can't believe you!" my mom shouted back. I could tell that my mom was getting pretty steamed so I decided that this was the time to but in. "Hey guys! What's for dinner?" I cheerfully asked as I sat down at the table. Almost instantly they replied,"Chicken!" in unisen. They looked hard at each other and sat down to give grace. After that we ate in silence.
