CRIMEWEB COLLECTIBLES

(NEW) Featured Item:

Offered is one of the more unusual posters I have seen. It is from the New York State Institution For Defective Delinquents in Napandoch, New York.

Wanted is John Defranzia, #77, who escaped before his arrival to this facility on September 5, 1922. He had been received at Sing Sing from New York County for the crime of robbery first degree. He was transferred to Clinton Prison where he made his escape before he could ever enjoy the Institution For Defective Delinquents.

The poster measures 3 1/2" x 6" and is pasted onto an 8" x 8" filing card. It displays his mug shot, Bertillon Measurements and his Henry Finger Print classification. This is the only one I have or have ever seen from this institution.
