Directions:
Instep: Make a sl kn on hook with yarn.
Ch 10;
Row 1 - Sc in 2nd ch from hook
and in each ch across.
Ch 1; turn.
Row 2 - Sc in first sc and in
every sc across.
Ch 1: turn.
Rows 3-9 - Repeat 2nd row.
Foot: Ch 27.
Join with sl st to opposite
corner instep (figure 1).
Sc in 9 sc along side of
instep, 9 sc across toe, 9 sc
along othe side of instep and
in each of 27 ch sp.
Rows 2-6 - Sc in every sc
around foot. Knot yarn and
cut, leaving 5" end for weaving
into wrong side of bootie.
Top: Pull loop of yarn through 15th
ch (center back).
Ch 3.
Dc in each ch sp and each sc
(36 stitches). Join with sl st
in top of 1st ch 3 at center
back.
Rows 2-6 - Ch 3. Dc in every
dc around. Sl st in top of ch
3 at center back. Knot yarn
and cut.
Sole: Make a sl kn. Ch 10;
Row 1 - sc in 2nd ch from hook
and in each ch across.
ch 1; turn.
Row 2 - Sc in first sc and in
every sc across.
ch 1; turn.
Rows 3-20 - Repeat 2nd row.
Break yarn and knot. attach
sole to bootie with sc all the
way around.
Tie: Make a sl kn, leaving 8 inch
end.
Ch 85. Knot yarn and cut,
leaving 8 inch end.
Weave tie through first row of
dc (nearest foot of bootie).
Make pom poms and attach to
each end of tie. Hide all loose
Ends of yarn.
