President Bush’s vocabulary is a carnival for comics… but now he’s gone beyond inventing new words and defied the English language by launching the world’s first pre-emptive war in retaliation to an attack.. Prior to George Bush, all pre-emptive strikes were waged pre-emptively.. The 9/11 Commission released it's final report in June, and the shocking evidence that it revealed was that there were no connections between Saddam Hussein and 9/11.. Shocking because the liberals repeatedly referred to the Iraq War as a pre-emptive war and the Bush Administration had never denied this.. Many reasons were given for going to war, but it was pretty clear to people with an I.Q. of more than 26 that Saddam Hussein was not the mastermind behind the attacks.. The news came as Vladamir Putin announced publicly that Russia had provided America with proof that Saddam Hussein was planning attacks on the United States shortly after 9/11, and that Saddam had many ties to al Qaeda and other terrorist organizations, including but not limited to harboring the man responsible for the first World Trade Center bombing in 1993.. Personally, I believe a headline that reads “Putin Offers Proof Of Iraq/al Qaeda Link” is more intriguing than “Saddam Not To Blame For 9/11”.. Mainly because no one had ever blamed Saddam for 9/11.. Unfortunately, most of the major news outlets around the country were too busy thinking they had the dirt on Bush to give a shit about anything the leader of one of the world’s largest nations has to say regarding the matter.. Give me a break… I can’t believe that just a few months ago, the Democrats were squealing because Bush wouldn’t let Condoleezza Rice testify in front of the 9/11 Commission, and after giving in to nearly all of the Commission’s demands, the most stimulating headline that we can extract from their investigation is a fact that 99.9% of not retarded Americans already knew.. My theory is that the 9/11 Commission was Bush’s plan for creating job opportunities for journalists at risk of being laid off because of the sluggish economy.. That or the 9/11 Commission was politically motivated and it was created to make Bob Kerrey feel needed..
