What was being billed as "the biggest AGCSWF Pay-Per-View in history,"
No Trespassing, was about to begin on a snowy Sunday evening in
Missouri. The show opened with a shot of the AGCSWF World, Hardcore, and
United States champ Adam Taylor entering the arena, carrying all three
of his title belts. Then the view switched to the arena itself, where
huge throngs of fans had turned out to witness the event. Wrestlers
continued to arrive at the arena as the lights went down in the ring for
the first match.
First off: a "special challenge match" between Justin Penkert and Ryan
Estes. Ryan came out first, accompanied by the Alliance of Innovators.
Then Justin's music blared over the loudspeakers, and the fans were
shocked at what they saw. Justin came out to the ring accompanied by
"Tytanic" Tyler Knotts, which was strange enough in itself, but was made
worse by the fact that they were both wearing only two items of
clothing: a pair of long purple wrestling trunks and a big, multicolored
tie. Those in the crowd who weren't laughing may have been throwing up.
The Alliance of Innovators was laughing so hard that Justin and Tyler
were able to get the drop on them early. They jumped into the ring and
attacked Ryan, Chad, and Clay. Tyler clotheslined Clay over the ropes,
then concentrated on beating up Chad as the match between Justin and
Ryan finally started inside the ring.
Despite his poor choice in ring wear, Justin did very well against Ryan,
but when Chad interfered by hitting Justin in the head with a broken
desktop, the tide turned and Ryan started to win. He set Justin up and
delivered a back suplex from the top rope; it seemed that a pinfall was
imminent. However, "Big R" Russell Davis made a surprising appearance,
clotheslining Ryan and allowing Justin to pick him up and get the win
with his Chuck Norris Kick to the side of Ryan's head.
After the match, Justin, Tyler, "Chrispytoast," "Big R" Russell Davis
(wearing his trademark brown-and-black jacket), and Justin's valet, Tina
Vandiver, stood together in the ring as Justin grabbed the microphone
and declared, "The Scooby-Doo Club is now in business!" The crowd wasn't
quite sure what to think, but some fans cheered as as the newly-formed
Club left the ring.
Brandon "Brando" Cowles and "Mr. Jitterbug" Chad Martinac defeated The
New Group ("Triple-D" Dustin Day and "Action Jim" Jared Brison) to
retain their Tag Team titles after Mr. Jitterbug nailed Action Jim with
one of the belts, allowing Brandon to hit the Brando Blockbuster off the
top rope. After the match, Triple-D and Action Jim appeared to be
having a few heated words in the ring, and some feared that the hugely
successful team might be on the verge of breaking up; but eventually,
they left the ring and made their way backstage without any violence.
Suddenly, the lights in the arena went down, and the AGCSWF
Lightheavyweight champion, Razor, came down to the ring with new
entrance music and a slightly new look. Some of the audience members
booed, but for the most part they cheered as he made his way to the
squared circle. However, Razor climbed into the ring, grabbed a
microphone and yelled "SHUT UP!!" to the fans in attendance, resulting
in a chorus of boos.
Now Razor said, "I'll try to keep this as short as possible. First of
all, I just want to say that ever since Commissioner Linda took over the
AGCSWF, this entire organization has gone straight down the
toilet...including my own once-promising career! I mean, look at me; I
was the best Triple Threat champion in history, and one of the biggest
moneymakers for the AGCSWF. I sold a lot of T-shirts for this company,
you know. I'm also a former Tag Team and European champion. Nobody can
beat me, not even on my worst day!
"But look at what's happened," he continued. "I've been reduced to
having to defend this Lightheavyweight piece of garbage against the
likes of Andrew McShane every single night of my miserable life! Does
anybody really think I care about this ongoing 'Lightheavyweight
controversy?' Well, I don't, so forget about it. This isn't fun any
more. I refuse to deny myself a long, fulfilling career by allowing the
AGCSWF to treat me this way. I've been cheated out of major title shots
for too long, and it ends tonight! As of this moment, I officially
forfeit the AGCSWF Lightheavyweight title. Linda, maybe you can hold a
tournament for it or something."
At this, he tossed the belt into the middle of the ring and left it
laying there. "But I just don't care anymore. I'm sick of being referred
to soley as a 'Lightheavyweight' when I have accomplished so much more
than any lightheavyweight wrestler could ever do. And, I'm really sick
of catering to all you stupid fans! I mean, where does it get me?
Nowhere!!" (Once again, the crowd erupted into boos.)
"Go ahead and boo me all you want, because tonight, I've got bigger
things in mind: namely, the Heavyweight title. And I promise you that by
the end of this evening, I WILL be the new AGCSWF World champion! Adam
Taylor, if you've got the guts, you'll let me be a part of that World
title defense you've got coming up later tonight. Because no matter how I
have to do it, I will not leave this arena tonight without that belt
around my waist. Nothing else matters to me any more; not friends, not
money, not popularity, and especially not these moronic fans! Linda, I
hope I didn't take up too much of your precious airtime. Later, losers."
And with that, he threw the microphone out of the ring and left the
ringside area to thousands of boos that would only grow louder as the
night went on.
Eric Delzell defeated Adam Taylor to become the new AGCSWF US champion
after Razor interfered in the match. Adam had been winning easily, but
Razor came down to the ring and zapped Adam with a cattle prod. Eric
then splashed the US champ off the second rope for the win. After the
match, Razor attacked Eric as well, bloodying his forehead with a metal
lunch tray, then throwing him over the ropes to the outside.
Suddenly, Adam stumbled to his feet and went after Razor, but the former
Lightheavyweight champ fled the ring and taunted Adam from the outside.
Adam grabbed a microphone and said that if Razor had what it took to
wrestle like a man, he would indeed get his shot at the World title
later that night. Razor continued to back away from the ringside area
with an evil grin on his face.
A few minutes later, Crash and Ruudboy were shown backstage yelling at
Razor, demanding to know what they were supposed to do for their
upcoming Parking Lot Natural Selection Brawl in which Razor and Crash's
titles were scheduled to be on the line.
Razor told them, "Sorry, guys, but you'll have to find someone else,
because I could care less about those jobbers you're supposed to
wrestle. I'm focused on the big prize from here on out. You know that!"
Finally Crash replied, "Okay, let's all just take it easy for a minute.
If we absolutely have to find someone else, I guess we will." Razor
nodded his head and walked off in the other direction, as Ruudboy and
Crash returned to their locker room.
In a match for E. Heare's Triple Threat title, the "special mystery
opponent," Bryce Aaron Curtis, returned to the AGCSWF after a month's
absence and won the strap. E. Heare and Freeze entered the ring first
and started brawling, but then Bryce hit the squared circle and
immediately went to work, powerbombing both of them. As they writhed in
pain on the mat, Bryce chokeslammed E. Heare off the top rope for the
first pinfall of the contest.
Freeze pulled herself up and kicked Bryce in the head, preparing him for
her finisher off the top rope. However, out of nowhere came Candie
Hanson, who had also disappeared for a month following Bryce's defeat at
the hands of Razor. Candie jumped up on the ropes and hit Freeze in the
spine with a Triple Threat title belt, after which Bryce gave Freeze a
back breaker and a body-press slam for the win.
After the match, Bryce grabbed the mic and said he still had a score to
settle with Razor, but for now, he was going to concentrate on
celebrating his return and defending his title. The two-time Triple
Threat champ and his valet then exited the ring.
Next up was the special Parking Lot Natural Selection Brawl ("Survival
Series"). The original participants were scheduled as follows:
The Hometown Team (Lightheavyweight champ Razor, Intercontinental champ
Crash, and Ruudboy) vs. The Establishment Team (Peter Hartman, Derek
Ankrom, and TV champ Clay Fergusen). The terms for this match: if The
Hometown Team won, Razor and Crash would keep their titles, and Ruudboy
would win the TV title; but if the Establishment Team won, Peter would
get the Intercontinental title, Derek the Lightheavyweight belt, and
Clay would keep his TV strap. However, since Razor had chosen not to
participate, the Hometown Team was left with an opening that was filled
by Ruudboy's pal Johnny Lovelace, making his official AGCSWF debut.
So, the match was underway, and by all accounts it was a good one. The
six participants made their way to the AGCSWF Arena parking lot and
immediately began to brawl. Early on, Derek Ankrom was easily dealt with
by Ruudboy and Johnny Lovelace, as they simply threw him into the trunk
of a nearby car and locked him in. Derek pounded on the inside of the
trunk and demanded to be let out, but to no avail.
However, Peter Hartman and Clay Fergusen put up a much better fight, and
before long, everyone involved in the match was bleeding to some
degree. Trash cans, metal lunch trays, hubcaps, algebra books, broken
desktops, locker doors - all were utilized as weaponry in attempts to
gain the upper hand. The fight consistently rocked back and forth, even
though the ETE's team was outnumbered by a man. At one point, Grant
Ankrom tried to interfere, but slipped on a patch of ice and fell to the
ground in a heap.
Many grueling moments later no pinfalls had been landed, until finally
Crash punched out Clay, dragged him over to an icy water-filled ditch
and threw him in. Crash then landed a flying elbow onto Clay, plunging
several feet into the ditch and making a huge splash. The reluctant
referee descended into the ankle-deep waters and counted a pinfall. The
Hometown team had won the match, meaning Ruudboy came away with the TV
title. The bruised and battered Hometown team celebrated, sans Razor, in
the back area after the match.
Now it was finally time for the AGCSWF World Heavyweight title match,
which had originally been scheduled as champion Adam Taylor defending
against "Triple-D," but with the late addition of Razor, was now a
triple threat contest. Adam came to the ring first, drinking in the
cheers of his fans, then took a microphone and said, "Hey Razor, I got
nothin' against you personally, but I think you're just gettin' a little
big for your britches! Listen up, ya little punk: if you've got the
guts, get your skinny butt out here now so I can beat it into the
ground!"
Razor's new music blared through the arena, and he came down to a
now-familiar chorus of boos. His face was focused on that of Adam Taylor
and nothing else, but before he could get into the ring, he was
attacked from behind by Triple-D. The bell sounded as Razor and Triple-D
battled back and forth outside the ring.
When they got close enough to the squared circle a moment later, Adam
took a running leap and went flying over the ropes, flattening both
wrestlers. Razor was the first to get up, grabbing a nearby metal lunch
tray and bashing both Adam and Triple-D over the head. Razor then
punched Adam repeatedly, rolled him into the ring and bounced him off
the ropes, nailing a spinning heel kick which almost resulted in a
pinfall. Triple-D entered the ring, and now the match turned into a true
three-way brawl. After only a few minutes of intense fighting, all
three wrestlers were plainly exhausted, but they kept going.
Razor left the ring and got ahold of his cattle prod, then reached
through the ropes and zapped Triple-D. Dustin stumbled backwards, right
into a reverse Adam Taylor Takedown from Adam for the first pinfall.
Razor climbed up onto the turnbuckle, and as soon as Adam got to his
feet, he was flattened by a somersault splash from the former
Lightheavyweight champ. Both men were now lying on the mat, temporarily
out of breath, as referees and officials helped Triple-D out of the
ring.
Adam and Razor climbed slowly and painstakingly to their feet, glaring
at each other, and got into a shoving match in the middle of the ring.
Adam bounced Razor off the ropes and tried for a clothesline, but
overshot his mark; Razor then launched into a spinning side kick, but
also missed. Careful observers noticed Ruudboy and Crash making their
way down to the ringside area.
Adam and Razor climbed to their feet once again, but before they could
get into it a second time, Ruudboy jumped into the ring and turned on
his friend of many years, Adam Taylor, by smashing him in the back of
the head with an Algebra book. Razor grabbed hold of Adam as he fell
forward and landed a Razor Burn for the three-count to become, for the
first time in his career, the AGCSWF World Heavyweight champion.
After the match, Razor celebrated his title victory along with Ruudboy,
Crash, and surprisingly, Johnny Lovelace, as the crowd erupted in boos
and tossed garbage into the ring. Crash picked up Adam Taylor and
delivered the Cymbal, opening up a gash on the former titlist's
forehead. Razor's theme music blasted through the speakers as he climbed
the ropes and held his newly won title belt up in the air. Then Crash
got the mic and said, "You ignorant fans can boo us all you want, but
the fact is that we ruled this night, and from now on, we're going to
rule the AGCSWF! The Hometown Boyz may be dead, but we're the Renegades,
and we do as we please!"
Now Razor grabbed the microphone and said "Yeah, all of you can boo us
until the day you die, but the fact of the matter is, we don't care! I'm
the new AGCSWF World champion, and I know each and every one of you
wishes you were in my place, you pathetic losers! But you'll never
amount to anything in this world, none of you! So go ahead and hate us,
because no one cares what you think anymore!"
At this, the crowd started booing louder than ever, but the Renegades
ignored them as they left the ring one by one and strutted their stuff
all the way to the back, leaving Adam Taylor in a pool of his own blood
as referees tried to help him. Truly, a new era had been ushered into
the AGCSWF on this night.
