~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~ Results From the 12/11/2000 AGCSWF Live Event-- ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~ Chad Ehrmann, the hated former AGCSWF Lightheavyweight champion, made his way to the ring to kick off the 12/11/2000 Federation event. Upon reaching the squared circle, Chad picked up a microphone and silenced the fans' boos by saying, "A few weeks ago, I was robbed of my Lightheavyweight title by that punk Andrew McShane, and it was all on account of Clay Fergusen sticking his nose where it didn't belong. The only reason Clay did what he did is because I 'accidentally' cost him the TV belt against my buddy Ryan, but I've already wasted enough of my precious time on this whole ordeal. I'm going to wash my hands of the matter and let Ryan and Clay work things out between themselves, which will allow me to concentrate on my own career again. And I promise you that I will be champion for a second time before the month of December has passed!" Chad handed the mic to the referee as his opponent, David Temple, came out to a less-than-lukewarm reception from the crowd. The two combatants locked up, and Chad immediately pitched his adversary into the ropes, then kicked him in the groin and landed a double-arm DDT. As David writhed in pain, Chad nonchalantly reached into his blue coveralls and slipped on his infamous pair of brass knuckles. The fans were surprised at how quickly the momentum appeared to have swung in Chad's favor, although they still chanted derogatory phrases at him. When David stumbled to his feet, Chad danced back and forth as if he were sparring with the smaller man and then laid him out with one stiff shot to the head. Once again, Chad's brass knuckles had led to an easy victory, as he made the cover and logged the three-count. Before leaving the ring, he hurled David's body through the ropes and threatened the referee, who warned Chad that he'd better calm down or risk having the decision reversed. This was due cause for Chad to disappear to the locker room area, and it seemed that nearly everyone in attendance was happy to see him go. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~ The first two-time AGCSWF Television champion in history, Ryan Estes, sauntered down the entrance ramp for his title defense against the number-one contender, Dane Gammon. As soon as Dane arrived, Ryan laced into him with a flurry of punches and kicks, then set him up and delivered a T-bone suplex for a nearfall. Dane retaliated by catching Ryan with a big boot off the ropes, then dropping a massive elbow onto his sternum. He followed up on that with a running shoulderblock and a gut-wrench suplex, scoring only a two-count. Ryan soon recovered and hit several European uppercuts in a row, then dropkicked his opponent in the knee and wrapped him up with a small package. Dane fought his way out of the pinning position with less than a second to spare, hip-tossed Ryan off the ropes, and started to set him up for a pumphandle slam that would most assuredly end the contest. However, Ryan was not quite dazed yet and was able to combat the manuvuer by hitting a modified swinging neckbreaker. It was then that the champion's most bitter enemy, Clay Fergusen, got involved by sprinting to the ring and catching Ryan with a Samoan drop. He finished Ryan off for good with a double-underhook powerbomb, then stepped back and admired his work as Dane got the pinfall to become the new TV titleholder. Clay fled the ringside area and was soon joined by an unbelieving Dane, who had captured gold long before others thought he would. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~ Next on the card was a Lightheavyweight title match between the reigning champion, Andrew McShane, and "Action" Tim Brison. These two had been in the same ring many times before, but this time it would be Andrew putting his belt up for grabs as Tim started out with a scoopslam. Andrew jumped to his feet, delivered a hurricanrana to his adversary, and violently clotheslined him when he got up again. The challenger suffered through a few more wear-down holds, had his brains scrambled courtesy of a slingshot suplex, and found himself on the outside all within the span of a few short minutes. Andrew went for a moonsault from the top turnbuckle, barely missing the announcer's table but still managing to connect with "Action" Tim. With his opponent having been temporarily knocked senseless, Andrew took advantage of the situation with a sunset flip that resulted in a two-count. Tim was aware enough of his surroundings that he could stop the champ in his tracks by slugging him in the kidney, then roll him up from behind for another nearfall. The younger brother of Jared "Action Jim" Brison hit a back elbow off the ropes, tried to headbutt his opponent on the mat, and was not successful; this gave Andrew a chance to lock on his signature move, the standing tornado DDT. While Andrew was still in the process of being announced the winner, he grabbed his belt and cleared the security barrier to celebrate with his fans, as he was known to do. Suddenly, a mysterious person wearing a bucket hat and a pair of coveralls similar to those worn by Chad Ehrmann attacked the unsuspecting Andrew and forced him back over the barrier. When the assailant removed his hat and confirmed everyone's suspicions as to who he was, Andrew went after him with renewed vigor and smashed his face into a nearby ringpost. Chad shook his head to clear the cobwebs, then took out his brass knuckles for the second time that evening and reduced Andrew to a state of helplessness with a low blow. He threw Andrew into the ring, picked up a steel folding chair, and used it on both Andrew and Tim. Finally, he threw the weapon down and went backstage, ignoring the overwhelming amount of garbage being thrown his way by the crowd. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peter vs. Brandon for the European belt. Just like last week, Peter goes over after heavy interference on behalf of both parties. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~ Hardcore battle royal for the number-one contendership spot: Crash, Eddie, Big R, Nathan (and Nathan), Eric, Derek, Nick, Chrispy, etc. Crash pulls out the victory. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~ Ruudboy and Johnny take on "Tytanic" Tyler Knotts and Justin Penkert (w/Tina and Chrispy) in a non-title match. Dustin and Jared get involved, paying Tyler back for last week by double-chokeslamming him and allowing Ruudboy to get the pin. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~ Chad vs. Adam for the World title. Bryce Aaron Curtis shows up and legdrops Adam, then cuts an interview saying that because of Adam's actions two weeks ago, Candie suffered a concussion and a neck injury. He says Adam has unwittingly made himself a very dangerous enemy, and hits another legdrop as the show closes. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~ List of AGCSWF Champions as of December 11, 2000: World Heavyweight: Chad "Jitterbug" Martinac Intercontinental: Grant Ankrom European: Peter Hartman Triple Threat: Razor Hardcore: Matt Roberts Tag Team: Ruudboy and Johnny Lively Television: Dane Gammon Lightheavyweight: Andrew McShane All contents are property of the AGCS Wrestling Federation copyright 1999-2009.
