Despite the advanced nature of Gorean medicine, many Physicians still rely upon materials gathered from Their surroundings to keep Their kits and halls stocked. The following pages are for Those who utilize natural resources. Plants are listed alphabetically and include a picture, a description for identification, list of climates / areas where the plant grows, any medicinal properties or uses, and when applicable, a quote to prove its existence in Gor. Items listed in the dark font are those which do not appear to be referenced in any of the books of Gor, however they are listed on the Plant pages. Encourage use of sparingly. They will be changed when suitable evidence of their existance on Gor is available.

Plants J – R
Plants S – Z ~ Only pick or dig every third plant that You find. This will ensure that enough specimens remain to continue propagation. ~ If You find a wild crop of useful herbs, it is recommended that You do not share its location unless it is a person close to You or whom You have solid trust in. This will ensure that large numbers of people do not clean out an entire wild crop in a short time. ~ You should be able to identify plants native to the area You live in. It is strongly recommended that even if You are fortunate to have a Phsyician’s Hall, that You learn AT LEAST the plants and properties indigenous to Your area as You never know when emergencies will arise.
