Just to tell you guys that we have had some good news over here, and that is that the BBC have bought the rights to BtVS. At the moment we are trying to convince the Beeb to give the show a decent time slot, as the only time we have heard is 18:00! As well as the time slot, the only other problem will be that the Beeb will starts we will be way behind you guys, episode wise.
Last week some of the campaign members got a letter from Sky about the scheduling on Sky and Buffy, I think there panicking (hopefully).
So it looks like were getting there eventually, and you never know we might even end up with Buffy on three Channels?

This is just an update on the Buffy situation in the UK at this moment! We think that our campaign has succeeded in getting Sky to show the remainder of series two, but we still have to find out when, and they haven't committed to showing series three yet. We are still e-mailing Sky and giving them a good ear-hole bashing!
On Saturday Sept. 12, 1998 "The Bring Back Buffy Campaign" had a mass e-mail to Sky. And we are waiting to see what the outcome of this will be, even though this is a UK problem we still welcome help! So if you live in the US of A, Canada or anywhere else, feel free to e-mail Sky to complain on our behalf! Here are some addys:

We are also still trying to convince Channel 5 to buy BtVS. Lots of UK Buffy fans have been writing to Channel 5. So if you're interested in seeing what UK Buffy fans are saying to Channel 5 just visit their posting board at: http://www.oxfordoverseas.com/board/ and then go to Programmes: General.
You can also put your own opinion down if you want and tell Channel 5 that it's a good idea. If you want to e-mail Channel 5 and tell them what a good idea it is here's their e-mail addy: dutyoffice@cannel5.co.uk
