Story break down:
  • The undertaker presents an opening introduction about the people and beasts in "the girl with no eye's" life. From this beginning, we are hurled into the white trash woman's Cajun sweatshop. Where the workhouse kids, work "a hard knock life." Voodoo Annie then performs rituals to escape from this horrible life. In the middle of Voodoo Annie's spell, white trash woman breaks in, and punishes the "red headed girl." Just then, sandi (Annie's former Dog, transformed into half man half chicken by the white trash woman) arrives and saves Voodoo Annie. Both escape to the wicked whore infested area of bourbon Street. There, the spirit of Voodoo Annie's Mother appears to guide her daughter to the man who saves the day, Warbuck Voodoo Daddy. Taking Annie under his wings, Warbucks opens his opium den for a showcase night of fun. Voodoo Annie discovers her family. White trash woman breaks into the opium den and kidnaps Annie and Sandi for their souls. She takes the kids to the outskirts of town to throw them off The beans and rice cannery roof. Warbucks arrives in time to climb up the side of the building to the roof. A struggle occurs. Warbucks falls to his death. With Both her parents dead, All the powers engulf Annie to help her defeat white trash woman. With her dead, the sacred ritual of eyesight can now be performed. A happy ritual of life.

    Bios:

Art Kent, was told from a young age to devote himself "To the light." Now as a lighting designer, he can truly say that he can feel the light, (but if you fondle the light, you'll go blind.)

Beth Marshall was last seen giving birth in "Valentine Vibrations" tonite she gives Birth to Voodoo Annie, In eight more months the method acting pays off. Thanks to Big Bang and most of all to Bill for the Voodoo in my belly.

    Bill Knapik ?

Brenda Nelson, co-founder of Thunder Pussy Productions, is pleased to be hand picked for the role of Annie. "Voodoo is my life!"

Charlie Colborne, our keyboard player needs newer musical equipment, which amounts for the high ticket prices; he also plays in "The Sympathetic Fringe" a pop quartet.

Derek Walker is represented by his theater talents at Kansas State University. He has opened his talents to some bizarre sh...! He really does have talent.

Mr. George has been active in KC area performance for the last ten years. Playing with bands, organizing and performing in productions both theatrical and Art oriented, supporting the scene.. and this is where I get left? This !? jeez, what a rip..

Jim Story would like to dedicate this performance to the music and theater students at Raymond Central High School, Raymond, NE. Go Big Blue.

Jon Piggy Cupit, the queerer half of ThunderPussy Productions, privately relishes playing farm animals and publicly revels in the demented thought of being an evil offspring of an unholy union between Tiny Tim and Nancy Sinatra. Tip toes, through the tulips, in your Go-Go boots!

Kurtis Armstrong has appeared on stage in many KC theaters: The American Heartland, The Unicorn and The Coterie to name a few. His favorite role was that of the "Asshole" in Nasty Sally Searsucker.

Mark Manning is a co-founder of Big Bang Buffet where he stage managed Nasty Sally Searsucker in 1992. Mark has worked on over 50 professional productions in KC. As an actor, designer, technician, writer and promoter.

Nancy Nielan (Congas) is a shy and timid dessert creature with a fiery Latin soul. She was tricked into doing the show by friends who thought they knew what was best for her.

Ron Megee is a co-founder of Big Bang Buffet and staff member at the Coterie Theatre. He recently appeared as Chicklet in "Psycho Beach Party" and as Greg Brady in an "American Family Christmas Special". His Voodoo rhythms Beat to their own drummer.

Rusty Pullen is participating in this show out of shear boredom and hoping it will enliven his senses and instill well being within his inner self.

Samantha Silveira, thinks that being in the show is lot cheaper than therapy and lot more fun.

Wendy Barsotti: This is Wendy's first foray into theatrical costumes. She was dragged into this Voodoo melee much against her humanist nature. She is a visual artist who'll paint anything that doesn't move .. So look lively .

Wednesday Nowak: Leather, latex and polyester propel this libertine Lois Lane. By day she rules Andromeda's by night spank-o-grams by countess Von Thundersnatch. Being a closet masochist, she is thankful to be, once again, on her knees for Ron Megee.

Shoshana Gold is finally fulfilling a life long dream of being a white trash Voodoo priestess, either that or she sold her soul to Ron Megee..
