League Scoring

Each week, your team will play a total of six games. These six games will be split up into two (3) game series. Player statistical totals from MLB games played Monday - Thursday will be tabulated for series #1 and player statistical totals from MLB games played Friday - Sunday will be tabulated for series # 2.

The scoreboard for each series will match you and your opponent in three categories:

1. Total Position Players Points

2. Total Pitchers Points

3. Combines Batters/Pitchers Points

Each of these categories are worth 1 game in the standings.

Example:

TEAM POSITION PLAYERS PTS PITCHERS PTS COMBINED PTS
Dodgers 567 432 999
Showboats 415 475 890

In this scenerio, the Dodgers won two categories (position players and combined) and Showboats won one category (pitchers). The result is the Dodgers win the series 2 games to 1.

The wins and losses are then entered into the league standings and tracked throughout the regular season. Wins and losses are what determine which teams make the playoffs and eventually win the league championship.

Likewise, if you put Robb Nen in as a starter, and he relieved during that series, you would not score any points for the games in which he was designated incorrectly.
