Johnnyrook is a five piece band from Minneapolis, Minnesota. Citing the music of dredg, coldplay, pedro the lion, counting crows, deftones, cold, jeff buckley, dave matthews, the fire theft (sunny day real estate), thursday, sigur ros, a whisper in the noise, dashboard confessional, further seems forever, and the juliana theory as influences to their music, the band has begun to develop a sound that has seemingly attracted listeners of all demographics.
Taking a good portion of early 2003 off from playing live, the band has begun work on their debut full length album. The work on the album should be finalized in early summer of 2003, followed by a US tour late summer.
