Right Now! Conditions have deteriorated to Wretched driving conditions. Snow is once again on the rise. It spreading across the southland. maybe an additional 4-8 inches maybe upon Springfield and the I-44 corridor. This is the wrap -around precip. Usually wrap-around snow is minor, but this storm is soo strong that it is dump significant snow. The snow will be dry and light toward afternoon. Roads have been reopened(closed for several hours) by the state patrol. Travel frowned upon at this time by the MODOT. This is a dangerous situation. I PLEAD FOR YOU TO CONSIDER NOT GOING OUT UNTIL TONIGHT. If you must travel, I MEAN EMERGENCY, give you destination a heads up that you are coming! Bring light food and supplies to keep warm if you get stranded. Also give your destination a generous Estimated time of Arrival
