Something
memorable/highlights about your days or years at Marshall-U
High:
Because the school was located where it was, we got a closer look
at
political and social protest than did most high school students. I
was
very interested in the politics of the day then, and I am still very
interested by the topic.
What have
you been doing since then?
I went to the University of Minnesota, where I majored in political
science. I received a B.A. after a protracted period of intermittent
enrollment. At the same time, Lindsay and I got together, and after
about three years, married.
I worked
as a chemical dependency treatment counselor, then took
related positions in the twenty years that followed. I now work as
a
chemical health policy planner for the State of Minnesota’s
Department
of Human Services.
