"RING AROUND THE ROSIE"

First Place ~ Shepherd's Harvest 2005 ~ this picture was taken in mid-March. On the day that we were SUPPOSED to have the flock sheared. After 20+ inches of snow, we rescheduled shearing for later in the month...

WSWF PHOTO CONTEST WINNERS

"SUMMER TIME TREAT" won first place in the Kids & Sheep category of the photo contest at the 2004 Wisconsin Sheep and Wool Festival. The photograph features my stepson, Richard, holding down a branch from the big tree in the ewe's paddock so the girls and lambs may enjoy a summer snack. A favorite ritual for both Rich and the sheep!

EWES IN THE MIST

This photograph of my 2002 ewe lambs was taken on a misty, September morning. I use this picture on my business cards. It took sencond place in the WSWF photo contest.

SHETLAND LAMBS

One of my favorite "artsy" pictures, features 7 week old "Bluff Country Zebadee" and his sister (actually, they're 2 of a set of triplets!) "Bluff Country Zoey" standing in the door to the ewe barn. I love the 'tepia' tones of this picture.

Beautiful, BLUFF COUNTRY APOCALYPSE at one year of age. I would LOVE to have this photo made into an oil painting!
