WHEN: 1994

ACTIVITIES OF WITNESS: My family and myself saw a bigfoot in Teton Yellowstone National Park in 1994. It was off the road about sixty yards out next to running water. At first its back was to us. When first sighted it stood completely erect with no head showing at all. Then it bent forward at the waist with it's arms pulled up and bent at the elbows. The back was very long in relation to the legs and appeared dented in as it leaned forward. As it turned its head to the left its face looked ashen colored or greyish. At the top of it's head was a tall pointed or sagital crest reflecting solid bone structure. Hair was somewhat long, about five inches in length I would guess. As the sunlight and light breeze hit the creature the color appeared dark brown to black with reddish tint as the sunlight hit the hair. Weight estimated to be five or six hundred pounds and seven to eight feet tall. Shoulders were very broad, much more than a man's and looked as though football shoulder pads were on top. In point of fact this creature was very muscular. Leg's were quite strong looking but short in relation to the top of the body. Arms were long and very big looking. The butt was large and the creature was hairy from head to toe.

The thing that sruck me as being so odd was how this creature could stand perfectly erect without seeing it's head from about sixty yards out. Try and stand erect without someone behind you seeing your head. I yelled this fact out several times to my family as we drove our van down the road in the morning.

The creature turned and leisurely began to walk away as it sensed our van on the highway. It covered ground quickly but appeared not to be the least bit afraid. This bigfoot is as real as you and I. I have hunted and fished all my life. This creature was not some person dressed up in a uniform. It's movements were not human although it can walk lke a man. As I saw it move it's back and arms it had an animal motion not human. This is something you can sense as you see the movement of the creature.

My family and I know what we saw to be very real. Although it is so rare a thing to see, we feel so fortunate and lucky to have seen this thing. It was truely awesome to behold and just unbelievable but quite real! There is no doubt in our minds anymore about bigfoot. Our faith is unshakable.

I was fouty four years old at the time of the sighting and I am now fifty three. Our certainty has not waivered an inch since the sighting and never will. We saw the creature in an open field with no brush or cover around it. If I can be of any help, please let me know.
