ACTIVITIES OF WITNESSES: I was staying with some friends of mine while I was in Minnesota. We started talking about UFO's and of course Bigfoot. I was telling everyone the story I heard about the one guy's sighting while in the Nebraska sandhills. Anita's husband, Dennis, grew up in the Nebraska sandhills, and she wasn't a bit surprised by the story. As a matter of fact, she said, "Oh, yes, the Monkey Bear". Seems that several people in that area have seen and heard this thing!!! She went on to say that during calving season, and hunting season, the guys would stay in the old, abandoned homestead. Well, one time, the hunters went into the house, and at the very top of the steps was a big, fresh pile of poop. They all looked at it, and they had no idea what could have made it. Thay left the farmhouse and went to town to get some friends to come out and look at it. When they got back to the farmhouse, the pile was gone! Dennis said that several of his cousins had seen the Monkey Bear. Three of his cousins were crossing a bridge, and they saw it! They went running back to the house as white as sheets. Dennis also said that you could hear it howling at night down by the river, and that many people were scared and wouldn't camp overnight. He said there is definitely something out there. The sandhills area he grew up in is very isolated. This is more than likely the same area that the other guy was driving through in your previous sighting report.
