Pictures and Stuff

New stuff, as I choose to update it.
Nihongo no Barbeque

These are mostly photos taken at the annual Japanese class barbeque. There were a lot of people there, and we all had a great time eating unusual foods and talking with our friends.

This is a picture of my friend Andrew and me at the Manga Anime Society's Halloween bash. I'm supposed to be A-ko from "Project A-ko" and Andrew is Super-Kawaii Neko-chan! Well, I made that name up, ha ha.
Well, here's a picture of my first semester Japanese class. I put it on its own page so I could put everyone's name underneath

School Photos and Senior Portraits
Here's my loving, wonderful, talented sister in this year's school photo, smiling like the total angel she is... Rachel 2001
Joe Lambert, probably one of the funniest people I've ever met, and the sweetest, smiling in our junior year of high school. Joe
Here's Christine Tollison both in what I believe is our junior year, and her senior portrait. Junior year and Senior year
This is something I like to call the "Evolution of Nate," even though there are only 2 pictures here... but they're funny in a strange way. Nate 1997 and Nate 1998
Mikel Bezdek's senior portrait, a testament to his desire to be a smooth 007 type spy. Mikel Senior
Marni(e) and Frazzle make such a cute couple... Marni Senior

My senior year in high school, 2000
Yeah, my last year in high school... senior slide, fun with friends, goofing off, what great memories. And of course there was the prom and graduation (apparently the only two events that warrented photographs, since those are the only ones I have.) There are only a few of those here, however. I know I have more but about half of them mysteriously disappeared the other day and I have to go look for them. Dammit, I need some organizational skillz.
Here's Mike, David, and Mikel lookin' like total hotties at the prom. They got the James Bond thing goin' on. 3 Hotties
Mike and Mikel mugging for the camera at dinner before the dance. Impish men
Abby, Jenny, and Heidi look so happy, or do they just want me to take the picture and get it over with? Hmm... Smiley
Jenny Krepela and Payal Dhalgara, looking very happy, indeed. Payal and Jenny
Me and Dave Sivanich, just happy to be done with high school. Me an' Dave
Me with Jenny and Marni after the graduation ceremony. I bet they're wishing they were in my shoes right about then, hee hee. 3 girlies
Me, Christine, and Nate after graduation, grinning like dorks. Happiness

Random Stuff
This is the crap that didn't fit in the other categories, but I'm sure you guessed that already. I have a lot of this stuff laying around the house, mostly stuff from tenth and eleventh grade. I just have to go looking for the rest of it.
This is how we tried to enter the tunnels underneath the high school, but for some odd reason, Mrs. Binkowski didn't want us to go down there... What a disappointment. The bush
This was a sign that Jill, Dave Sivanich and I discovered on our bicycle trip to downtown Minneapolis. That's me standing underneath (I cropped and resized the picture quite a bit, so this is actually just a small portion of it, hence the distortion). Very Scary
Jill and I before Region 4AA Solo/ensemble contest in tenth grade, looking very kind and gentle. Nice girls
And here we are on the same day looking very sinister. Crazy girls
This is my big fat kitty doing what she does best, being fat. Fat Cookie

Prom 2001
Yes, I am in college, and I went to a high school prom. Yes, you can make fun of me, but I did it out of love. Yes, I took some pictures, and here they are. Oh, and some of the pics might be a bit distorted, it's because I had to crop them. Damn cheap 35mm camera...
This first one is of my sister and her friend Larissa, who got her hair done by Rachel. Friends
This is a back view of Larissa's hair. Hair by Rachel
Greg looks on innocently as I dig in my cardboard box for my instrument of death. Where is that flower?
Greg has a wary look as I fumble with a sharp object. Fun with sharp objects
Ah, we all emerged unscathed, though Greg looks a little stressed. Giggles
Greg and I in front of the big pine tree in my yard. Happy tree
Greg and I were just sitting at Coon Rapids Dam having a picnic, and these two ladies came up to us and practically begged to take our picture, so here we are. Coon Rapids Dam
Kevin and Marni at the dance, though I don't know what she's looking at... Who, what, where?
Drew and Jenny smiling happily, though Drew has taken to hiding behind the crappy model Eiffel Tower. Hiding
Kevin flanked by two sexy ladies, possibly searching for a hot "pizza ass?" Laura, Kevin, and Marni
Me and Kevin, two dorky super seniors hanging out with a bunch of high schoolers. Super Seniors!
Greg and I, getting tired from shaking our groove thang. Cute couple
We finally found Larissa, and here she is, hair, dress and all. Larissa
Jon-Erik and his date, whose name I think was Britta. Cute kids
Kevin looking a little... how do you say... fruity? No, really, that's not my finger partially covering the lens... Happy Kevin
An artful perspective of the pop that I spilled on the floor in Marni's room. All hail the Dr. Pepper. Pop spill
Brian making fun of me because he has a sweet digital camera instead of a shitty 35mm one like me. Oh, and that thing on the right side must be a ghost because it's certainly not my finger covering the lense (obnoxious spirits.) Chip
Marni showing off the matchbooks she received from dinner out the night before. Heh, fire fire!
Yay, the mighty She-Ra! Hanging on Marni's wall for all to see. She-Ra
