I have only been keeping reptiles since about early 1997. I had been managing a pet store for some time and became fascinated by how beautiful a lot of these snakes can be. My first reptile was a ball python, which I still own today. I have sold off some of my collection now that I no longer work at the pet shop. Some of those snakes included: a children's python, carpet pythons, various color morphs of corn snakes, a Brazilian Rainbow Boa, a Kenyan Sand Boa, a red-tail boa and a Jungle Carpet Python. I also owned two green iguanas. I currently own two ball pythons.
