Fran De Light


My days and nights were dark
my direction I could not see clearly
was in need of a new spark
and my future was looking dreary

Then it happened one night
in the distance appeared a soft dim light
I watched as it grew nearer
and a lovely lady came into sight

She had a glow about her
that captured my attention
so I watched her closely
I just had to get to know Her

I was feeling pretty meek
but just knew I had to now speak
lest the light would grow Dim
and my chances too slim

I muttered a shy hello
she responded fairly quick
my jaw dropped like a brick
when she said you seem a nice fellow

Now I`m so glad I muttered hello
and let my feelings show
for now I`m not so Blue
as this for sure I know

In my life she brought some sun
she is my Light, my peaceful Dove
together happily we are one
as we share each others everlasting Love
