Dark Eyes
When I was young at girls I didn`t wink
around the girls I was quite shy
would just look at them and think
she`s cute, dating her I`d like to try
now many years have passed by
thats when dark eyes came along
maybe now I`m not quite so shy
when she said listen to this song
not being sure what I need or want
was not looking...but she was there
smilin and flippin back her long dark hair
peering into her dark eyes I was caught
soon for lunch we will meet
and hope that all goes well
from what I see she`s awful sweet
and I hope she thinks I`m swell
We`ll cast our coins in the wishing well
and where it goes from there
day by day only time will tell
what our lives and hearts might share
