vegetables & fruits

  • There were times when for month our Prophet Mohammad (SAW) lived on fruits.Try to eat more vegetables and fruits to start out with. I know Fried food tastes better but in reality they are no good for our bodies and we can 110% live without them. Also Remember if its going to harm your body you need to stay away from it just the way you would stay away from Sin because it will corrupt your soul. If its our responsibility to protect our souls then its our responsibility to protect our bodies. Best part about Fruits & Vegetables are that you can eat them anytime anywhere and they dont make a mess. They are also great energy booster, meaning carbohydrates

    Meats and Protein foods

  • Meats are part of majority of Muslims life. First of all I would like to point out that us Muslim's should only eat Halal meat because its cleaner and much healthier for you. Now I am going to break it down different kinds of Meats.

  • CHICKEN is an outstanding animal created by Allah. Even though it eats things that can be bad for it but SubhanAllah Chicken has 9 stomachs so it can sperate its food quite well. Also there meat is a really good source of proteins, and as we all know Protein is what helps us Build Muscles. I suggest that you should eat chicken breast because they are the healthiest for you and has the least amount of fat. I know all of us LOVE the Leg but remember that the Prophet (SAW) has told us that we should live in this world as travelers. What I am trying to say is that We know Allah will give us all that we desire, so if you are someone that Allah has made it Physically harder to get in shape then try to push harder for his sake for every thing is a test even that Chicken leg :).

  • COWS, GOATS AND DEAR. They are all outstanding Animals Subhan'Allah. They all have more then one stomachs and can separate there foods quiet well unlike pig which only has one stomach and eats what ever it see,s and from the moment they are born they are almost as if dying of there diet. For Cow's, Goats & Dear try to limit them about 3 times a week and by that I mean three times a week for all of them not one of them 3 times a week. They are great source of Protein specially for growing kids but they also have lots of Fat and cholesterol, try to take as much fat off as you can before cooking.

  • Eggs. HMM GOOD:). Eggs are cheep and easy way of great protein. When I was in the Marine Corp I use to eat 5 to 6 eggs a day. Now your probably wondering what about the cholesterol? Well, brother's and Sister's all you need to do is take the yolk out and walah!, your eggs are up for grabs. You see whites carry all the protein and only 2 grams of fat per egg while yolks carries all the cholesterol and 3 grams of fat per egg. If your looking for a way to get your muscles strong & healthy then do as I did and you will see them grow Insha 'Allah

  • Milk & Dairy Products. Milk and dairy products are great but if your planing on running a lot then you might want to stay away from them because they will end up giving you cramps. Milk is a great source of Protein and calcium for strong bones but try to drink them on the days your not planing on running.Remember that rule does not count for kids because they are growin and need calcium for there growing bodies.
