 After the WWE Wrestlemania I video airs over the Titan-tron, fireworks shoot out from the ramp...as WWE Wrestlemania I gets underway. The arena is pitch black…when suddenly….BOOM!! BOOM!! Fireworks shoot out from all over. Fireworks shoot out from the top of the ramp; fireworks shoot out from the ring posts in the ring; the fireworks light up the dark arena as the fans get on their feet. The fans are going crazy as the house lights come on. They throw their signs into the air, hoping the camera will come across theirs. The camera spans across the audience as it shows various signs in the crowd. As the camera goes from one part of the crowd to the next, the fans continue to scream. The camera then goes from the crowd to the announcer’s table, where Jim Ross and Jerry “The King” Lawler are sitting for commentary.
Jim Ross: Good evening everyone....and welcome to the granddaddy of em all...the biggest spectacle in the history of sports entertainment...Wrestlemania! WHERE IT ALL BEGINS! I'm Jim Ross...and along side me is Jerry 'The King' Lawler. King, it's been a long time coming...but it's finally here!
Jerry Lawler: It is here JR...it's Wrestlemania! We're sold out here in Madison Square Garden...in NEW YORK CITY! The fans are excited and JR, so am I!
Jim Ross: What a card we've got in store for tonight's Wrestlemania...what a night we've got here! We've got a triple threat match for the Tag Team Championship! The nWo has a lot of work cut out for em in order for them to pull this off!
Jerry Lawler: We've also got the Hardcore Championship on the line in a fatal four way elimination match!...as well as a TLC match between Vampiro and Rob Van Dam for the European Championship! Tables, Ladders, and Chairs! I can't wait!
Jim Ross: Also...father against son...Vince McMahon takes on his own son, Shane McMahon, with Eric Bischoff as the special guest referee! You know for sure Eric is gonna get involved in this match somehow!
Jerry Lawler: Plus, both the United States Championship and the Undisputed Championship will be decided here tonight! The first ever U.S. Gauntlet match will take place...plus a showcase of two of the greatest in sports entertainment: Shawn Michaels and Chris Benoit...battling it out for the Undisputed Title!
Jim Ross: But up first here tonight...what a way to kick off Wrestlemania...a LADDER MATCH! That's right, we're starting off Wrestlemania with a ladder match for the nWo Championship!
Your Olympic Hero has Arrived!
The scene goes backstage, a long black stretch limo pulls up into the madison square garden parking lot, the limo doors open and out step Eric and Kurt Angle, Kurt is pumped up he has his trademark red, white and blue tracksuit on, his has his hood up over his head, Eric starts to motivate his brother by rubbing his shoulders from behind as they make their way into the garden. ERIC ANGLE: This is it Kurt, this is the moment you've been waiting for, this is WRESTLEMANIA baby. KURT ANGLE:...... Kurt says nothing, he's in his zone, he just keeps on walking, the scene cuts.
