Do you smell what The Rock is cooking? This is Wraith, writer of this column for many issues to come. In this issue, I will talk about Tag Teams that have marked the world of pro wrestling. If you are a fan of a particular tag team, this issue is for you! One thing that I don't understand, is why are the good tag teams end in breakups? The Outsiders, The Steiners, the LOD, The American Males and so many other tag teams have ended in seperations. So let's start.

WWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW
One of the most recent dominations, was the Legion Of Doom. Hawk and Animal, 2 time WWF World Tag Team champions, made their way to the top. They captured our dear hearts just by doing what they do best: wrestling. They defeated the Nasty Boys at Summerslam 1991 to gain their first Tag Team championship. The Second time they won the Tag Team straps, was at Raw, when they put their careers on the line against the Godwinns. Needless to say that nearly all the viewers were on the edge of their seats. I would seriously cry if The Legion of Doom would have lost. I have watched them since I was a little kid and I would hate their glorious careers to be over it such a way. But they came victorious and the Road Warriors were again champions. But soon after, they had a serious physical fight because of the New Age Outlaws. They were forced to come back as LOD 2000.
Ladies and gentleman, boys and girls and children of all ages. The Degeneration-X proudly brings to you it's taaaaag teeeaaam chaaampions of the wooooooorld. The Road Dog Jesse James, The Bad ass Billy Gunn, The Neewww Age Outlaaaaaaaws. One of the most famous pre-matches ring speeches along with Konnan's Rowdy Rowdy thing and with Scott Hall's "survey". The New Age Outlaws are composed by Jesse James and Billy Gunn. Who thought that Jeff Jarrett's valet back in 1994 could become a superstar like Jesse James is now become. And Billy Gunn, ex-member of the Smoking Gunns, six time WWF Tag champion. Billy Gunn is an incredible Tag Team partner. The other ex-member of the Smoking Gunns, Bart Gunn in July-August won the Brawl For All tournament but after then...gone. So the WWF current tag champs are staying strong.
Now let's go WCW side a little. One of the best tag teams of WCW were certainely Harlem Heat. They are 7 times WCW Tag Champions. Booker-T and Stevie Ray, the two members of the team, were tag partners since god knows when. But the bad news is that they are seperated now. Stevie Ray is a part of the NWO Black and White, and Booker-T is WCW. It's really a shame that they can't continue the domination they started in the Tag Team division. Maybe some day....
The Nasty Boys. A time WWF Tag Champs and 3 times WCW Tag Champions. They team were considered one of the best in their times. The members of the team were Knobbs and Saggs. I did'nt really liked them, but I respected them. The only thing that I like about them is their WWF theme music. They defeated great tag teams like Arn Anderson & Paul Roma and Harlem Heat. Great Job Nasty Boys!
The Steiner Brothers. They started out in the WWF and then moved on to WCW. They won the WWF Tag Team Championship twice, and they are 5-time Tag champions in WCW. They broke-up. Rick Steiner is now the current WCW Tag Champions along with his new partner, Kaos. Scott Steiner is part of the NWO Black and White. They graduated at Michigan University, real life brothers. I never even thought of the day that they would break-up. This just proves how desperate Bischoff is for the damn ratings that he loses week after week.
The Outsiders formed by Scott Hall and Kevin Nash were a dominating force in WCW. They were WCW Tag Champs three times. But, as usual, they split up. Kevin Nash joined the Wolfpack, and Scott Hall joined The NWO Black and White. Both were very successfull in singles competition. I still don't know why every tag team splits up. Is it for ratings? Is it for partner VS partner match? Who knows?
