• Backstage, Vince McMahon, along with Pat Patterson and Gerald Brisco, made Kane get him a cup of coffee.
• Mosh (w/Thrasher) defeated Golga (w/The Oddities) by Disqualification.
- As Mosh began to gain the advantage, George "The Animal" Steele interfered with a foreign object, causing Golga to get disqualified. The Oddities were still happy, however, as they danced and Steele ate the turnbuckle pad.
• Backstage, Terri Runnels and Jacqueline were freshening up.
• Terri Runnels and Jacqueline Interview - (Conducted by Michael Cole)
- Terri Runnels and Jacqueline's new name was announced as PMS (Pretty Mean Sisters). Runnels said it was up to PMS to put the wrestlers with big egoes to a stop. Runnels unbuttoned Cole's pants, and Jacqueline pulled down his pants. Runnels and Jackie then beat up Cole and left the ring. Runnels said, "Now men will know what it feels like to have PMS."
• Backstage, Gerald Brisco and Pat Patterson joked with Kane, wanting some coffee. They went to get it themselves, though.
• Jeff Jarrett and Owen Hart (w/Debra McMichael) defeated Val Venis and The Godfather with Jarrett's Russian Legsweep.
- After Val Venis did his joke, The Godfather offered Debra McMichael a spot in the HO-TRAIN. Debra said she was way out of The Godfather's league; The Godfather responded by saying, "Like I said, pimpin' ain't easy." As Venis began to dominate Jeff Jarrett, Debra entered the ring and stripteased Venis. With Venis distracted, Jarrett finished him off with a Russian Legsweep.
• The Big Bossman and Ken Shamrock defeated The Hardy Boyz with Shamrock's Ankle Lock, to retain the Tag Team Titles.
- As The Big Bossman and Ken Shamrock were dominating the match, The Acolytes were shown backstage walking toward the ring. Ken Shamrock finished off the match with his Ankle Lock. The Acolytes ran-in, and destroyed Bossman and Shamrock.
• A special video was aired that recapped WWF's 1998 year.
• Backstage, Vince McMahon and Shawn Michaels were walking Kane to the ring.
• Kane (w/Vince McMahon and Shawn Michaels) defeated X-Pac with the Chokslam.
- Before the match, Commissioner Michaels ordered the rest of D-Generation X back to the locker room. Hunter Hearst Helmsley was none too pleased, as he went after Vince McMahon, but was stopped by Kane. Vince did color commentary with his son, Shane, and Kevin Kelly. X-Pac used a chair in the beginning to take the advantage, but was easily defeated by Kane's Chokeslam. Following the match, Kane was forced to carry out the Corporation's wishes - to continue an attack on X-Pac. Shane McMahon joined in the fun. As Kane was about to tombstone X-Pac, DX made the save.
