• It was announced that Stone Cold Steve Austin and Mankind would team up to take on The Undertaker and The Rock in the main event.
• D-Generation X Interview.
- It was just Hunter Hearst Helmsley, X-Pac, Chyna, and no New Age
Outlaws. Triple H said he wanted to know where The Outlaws stood. He
said it was fine with him if they made a business decision, but he
wanted The Outlaws to come out and stand face-to-face. Jesse James and
Billy Gunn made their ways out - in suits. James did the usual Outlaw
introduction, but with the words "Vincent K.
McMahon" and "Corporate" mentioned. James then introduced WWF
Commissioner, Shawn Michaels, to the ring. Michaels sad Helmsley owed
him a lot. Helmsley responded, saying he didn't owe Michaels anything.
Michaels said he made Helmsley a somebody, when he was a nobody.
Helmsley said he carried Michaels around. Michaels got frustrated, and
announced Helmsley and X-Pac would take on Ken Shamrock and The Big
Bossman in a No Holds Barred match later in the show. Team Corporate
waited for James, Billy Gunn, and Michaels on the top of rampway.
Helmsley had the DX and the fans tell Team Corporate to "Suck It!"
• Backstage, D-Generation X was shown talking to Chyna to make sure she watched their back.
• D-Lo Brown (w/Mark Henry) defeated Jeff Jarrett (w/Debra McMichael)
via Pinfall.
- Mark Henry took a couple cheap shots at Jeff Jarrett during the match.
Goldust came down in a rain coat. He flashed Debra McMichael, which
caused Jarrett to get distracted. D-Lo Brown caught Jarrett from behind
with a pin.
• Backstage, Stone Cold Steve Austin was shown chatting with WWF official, Tony Garea.
• Footage was shown of Vince McMahon lecturing at Oxford University in England.
• The Brood (Gangrel and Edge, w/Christian) and The Headbangers went to
a No-Contest.
- There were many excellent maneuvers from both teams, until The
Oddities and Tiger Ali Singh (w/Babu) interfered and attacked The
Headbangers. Luna was able to destroy Babu. The Brood did not get
involved.
• Backstage, Mankind was shown talking to a chair.
• Backstage, Shane and Vince McMahon, and The Rock were shown talking to Paul Bearer.
• Goldust defeated Owen Hart via Pinfall.
- During the match, Debra McMichael and Jeff Jarrett came down. Debra
was in a raincoat. She then flashed Goldust. Goldust got back in the
match and pinned Owen Hart.
• Backstage, on split screen, Stone Cold Steve Austin and Mankind were shown.
• Footage was shown from Capital Carnage in London.
• The Acolytes vs. The Godfather and Val Venis (w/ho's) went to a Double
Countout.
- Before the match, The Godfather picked a fan named Bob to have the
ho's for the night. The Godfather and Val Venis' opponents came out, and
it was a pure brawl on the outside of the ring, which resulted in a
Double Countout.
• Backstage, Stone Cold Steve Austin was shown heading to the entrance-way.
• Stone Cold Steve Austin Interview.
- Stone Cold Steve Austin said that at In Your House: Rock Bottom, the
stakes had never been higher for himself. He then called out The
Undertaker. The lights went out and a cross hung from the ceiling. The
Undertaker's voice was heard. He said that the whole world would see
Austin Buried Alive and Burned in Hell. The cross then lit on fire.
• Backstage, Mankind was shown looking for Stone Cold Steve Austin.
• Steve Blackman defeated Tiger Ali Singh (w/Babu) with the Lethal Kick.
- In the beginning of the match, Tiger Ali Singh hit Steve Blackman with
the flag. Blackman, however, was able to take the win with the Lethal
Kick. Blackman ran The Blue Blazer down, and Blazer tripped while
running. Blackman attacked Blazer, until Owen Hart ran down and put
Blackman in a choke hold.
• Mankind continued to look for Stone Cold Steve Austin backstage.
• Mark Henry (w/D-Lo Brown) defeated Droz (w/Animal) with a Big Splash.
- Droz tackled and threw Mark Henry into the steel steps on the outside
of the ring. Chyna then came down. Droz held Henry for her to hit, but
she didn't, and hit Droz instead. Henry followed up with a Big Splash.
• Backstage, Team Corporate was talking.
• Hunter Hearst Helmsley and X-Pac (w/Chyna) vs. The Big Bossman and Ken
Shamrock resulted in a No-Contest.
- Both teams were brawling on the outside with the stairs. Hunter Hearst
Helmsley suplexed Ken Shamrock on the steel ramp. Shawn Michaels and The
New Corporate Outlaws came down to ringside. When The Big Bossman
attempted to bounce X-Pac off the rope and Michael pulled the rope down,
he gave Billy Gunn a chair to hit Helmsley, but Billy hit Shamrock
instead. Michaels was very upset. James and Gunn took of there suits and
revealed D-Generation X T-Shirts. DX told McMahon to "Suck It!"
• Backstage, Mankind was shown coming out of Stone Cold Steve Austin's locker room.
• Backstage, D-Generation X was shown laughing about what they did to Team Corporate.
• Backstage, Stone Cold Steve Austin walked into his locker room. Mankind left Austin a beer in a bag and a note that said "Here is a cold one from me, tapped straight from the Rockies."
• Mankind and Stone Cold Steve Austin defeated The Rock and The
Undertaker (w/Paul Bearer) by Disqualification.
- All four men were fighting outside the ring - mostly Mankind and The
Undertaker going at it and The Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin. The
Rock gave Mankind the Rock Bottom. Ken Shamrock and The Big Bossman ran
in and handcuffed Mankind to the rope. The Undertaker hit Austin with
the chair, knocking him out. The Undertaker then carried Austin up to
the ramp, where the druids were waiting. They placed him on a cross and
raised it up above. Austin was crucified. The Undertaker stood near the
cross, along with Paul Bearer. Austin, helpless, kept saying he would
get The Undertaker back.
