* Rocky Maivia came out to do an interview. Faarooq attacked him with a steel chair and piledrived him. Maivia had to be stetchered out.
* Steve Austin was interviewed in the lockerroom.
* "Double J" Jeff Jarrett--with help from Tennessee Lee--beat Steve "Lethal Weapon" Blackman. During the match Al Snow was shown sitting in at the Spanish commentator's table. Security lead him away.
* Sable, representing herself, lost to Marvelous Marc Mero. Mero tricked Sable into believing he wanted to patch up their relationship. He lay down on the mat for her to pin him, and she covered him, but he instead small packaged her for the three count. Backstage after the match Sable said goodbye to all her fans. She must now leave the WWF.
* In a surprise, unannounced match, Kaientai beat Taka Michinoku and Justin "Hawk" Bradshaw. Kaientai won the 2-on-3 handicap match when Togo pinned Taka following a Senton Bomb.
* Commissioner Slaughter forced Rocky Maivia to defend his Intercontinental Title, or else he would have been stripped of it.Maivia managed to score the pin on Faarooq by using the corner ropes as leverage. Faarooq then destroyed Maivia, piledriving him two more times. The Nation came out for the save. D-X came out to fight with the Nation as well.
* Kane pinned Vader following a missed moonsault attempt.Vader nailed Kane with a wrench during the match, but it wasn't enough to put him down for good. After the missed moonsault by Vader and the pin by Kane, Vader lost his mask, which Paul Bearer then put on to humiliate Vader. Vader called himself a "fat piece of shit !" and admitted that Kane was the better man this night.
* The WWF saluted local legend Maurice"Mad Dog" Vackon andthe Crusher.Both man were presented with plaques commemorating the occasion.Vachon delivered a few words regarding his wife, niece Luna Vachonanf the rest of his family. The Crusher worked the crowd. Jerry Lawler,sickened by the aging stars ,interrupted the festivities.Three separate times the Crusher sent Lawler packing,though the King managed to remove Vachon's artificial leg
*Owen Hart, D-Lo and Kama defeated Triple H and New Age Outlaws.Owen Scored the pin on DX leader following a Pedigree (Triple H's Finishers)onto the European Title Belt.
*Howard Finkel, reading off of several cue cards, introduced Pat Patterson as the special guest ring announcer.Patterson then gave Jerry Brisco,`the guest time keeper,a similar lenghtly introduction.The same followed for special guest referee,Vince McMahon and WWF Title Challenger Dude Love.Patterson then refused to introduce Steve Austin. Austin came out to his theme music and a HUGE fan reaction.The Undetaker the came out as Austin's special cornerman to make sure that McMahon called the match down the middle. McMahon had earlier m«de the announcement that if Austin assaulted him in any way, he would be stripped of the World Title. McMahon also announced that only by his hand could the match be stopped.
The early minutes of the match focused on solid mat wrestling on the floor. The match then spilled to the floor,where it turned into a brawl.The two then fought there way in the entrance where several demolished cars (one of which had Jerry Brisco's auto body shop advertised on the door) were piled up to look like a junkyard. Austin and Dude Love battled on the cards, slamming each other through windshields and on roofs and hoods. Dude Love nailed Austin with an iron pipe and Austin was busted open, proceeding to bleed profusely.When the match first spilled to the floor McMahon changed the rules and it "No DQ". When the battled towards the cars , McMahon also made the match "Falls count anywhere "(with Patterson making both announcment to the crowd).
The action eventually moved back to the ring. There Dude accidently knocked out Vince McMahon with a chairshot(which missed Austin when Stone Cold ducked) . Austin the tried to get a pin,but a second seferee was dragged out of the ringby Pat Patterson. Dude came back with the Mandible Claw.Patterson tried to make the count when Dude Love covered for the pin,but he was dragged out of the ring by the Undertaker and chokeslammed trought the announcer's Table. Brisco attempted a three count on Dude Love's behalf and was chokeslameed by the Undertaker through the spanish announcer's table. Austin then came back for a final time with a Stone Cold Stunner, covered Dude Love, and dragged the unconscious McMahon over and used his hand to make the three count. Austin was announced the winner as Jim Ross declared Austin"The Thoughest son of a bitch I ever saw!!"Austin and the Undertaker then had an uneasy staredown as the how ended.
