LiveWire begins with Michael Cole announcing that the WWF will have a huge announcement this coming week on Raw and they will tell us more about it during the show.
Back in the studio now the WWF is abuzz about the inevitable, with McMahon suffering the ultimate humiliation with his son Shane McMahon signing Steve Austin to a five year contract. The rumours are that after Vince McMAhon took a small north-east based promotion and turned it into a worldwide multi-million dollar business.
The first clips of the show highlight Vince McMahon saying he holds everyone responsible for the actions of Steve Austin, he says he has lost all faith in humanity anf he questions his value and he asks where Brisco, Patterson and Slaughter were. Then he relives his humiliation the previous week on Raw. He is upset about the contract that Steve Austin shoved in his pocket last week and he says that he will fight it, all the way to the supreme court if he has to.
At the top of the Warzone Austin comes down to the ring to his usual pop, he says what he has is a brand new contract with the WWF, and not only that the contract guarantees one title shot and he said the only way he'll leave is if he quits and that's not likely. He said maybe his attourneys can't do anything about the contract, but he can since he is now gainfully employed he will compete in the ring on Raw and it will be in an "I quit" match and his opponent will be Ken Shamrock. He asks Austin how he can drive a wedge like that he said for twenty-eight years he has tried to set a good example and now he has turned that kid into a monster. Shane comes down to the ring and gets into the ring.
Then they talk to The Fink and he says he has known the McMahon family for years and they show family photos and he never thought that a split like this could happen, by the way The Fink was sporting a goatee.
WWF Capital Carnage Sunday December 6th on Sky Box Office. In a change to the advertised card the Fatal Four Way will be Austin vs. Undertaker vs. Kane vs. Mankind for the WWF Title and The Rock will get his rematch against HHH. Goldust will now face Val Venis, X-Pac will now put the European Title on the line against Steve Regal and the New Age Outlaws will put the Tag Titles on the line against D-Lo Brown and Mark Henry. Ken Shamrock defends the Intercontinental Title against Steve Blackman.
Then talking of The Rock he faced Droz last week on Raw and finished him off with a Rock Bottom and a People's Elbow, he makes a quick escape as some friction is visible between Hawk and Droz. Animal and Droz leave together leaving Hawk in the ring. You can really tell when someone is a true face when the King hates them. It also seems that his bye has been withdrawn as the WWF have made a big change to the booking for Survivor Series.
They talk to another man I don't recognise and he says it would be bad for Vince to leave the WWF as he is the driving force and people may suffer.
Then a quick recap of the problems between Undertaker and Kane. Then we see Kane pin Gangrel with the choke slam and after the match Gangrel and Christian try to take down Kane and have little success, Edge comes down to the ring to help, but then he directs everyone out into the crowd. The alliance is finally formed.
Then last week on Raw X-Pac defended the European Title against Steve Blackman, but Steve Regal ran down to the ring and attacked X-Pac claiming X-Pac didn't deserve to be the European Champion. The attack was broken up by a group of officials and the New Age Outlaws.
Then he talks to another man in the front office and he cannot comment on it, he says McMahon is an American Icon and if Shane takes over the ship, he'll get on and paddle.
Then a recap of Shane McMahon's speach. He says he is a stockholder of the company and what Vince did to Austin was wrong then goes through the wrongs of his life. Vince leaves in dispair. Cole talked about the dissention in the McMahon family. He says they are ready for a new era, then Cole says that Linda the CEO is torn then talks about Shane's sister. They showed clips of Hogan, Andre The Giant, Shawn Michael and Vince McMahon Sr.
Then another bloke says he thinks the'll do fine when Shane takes over.
Then last week Mankind and Al Snow faced the New Age Outlaws for the Tag Titles. Al Snow hit the Snow Plough and looks to take the win, but they argue over wheteher to use the Head or Socko and inadvertantly trade. Snow is rolled up and they retain the titles as D-Lo and Mark Henry attack the Outlaws and later Snow and Mankind trade back.
Then back to the McMahon story, they talk to Jim Ross and he says if Vince retires they will have a lot of changes because it's McMahon's leadership that brought them to the dance and he hopes it doesn't happen, that's not to say it won't.
The only way Austin can leave is if he quits so McMahon forced him into an "I quit" match with Ken Shamrock, during the match Mankind out the mandible claw on Shamrock and Austin put on a chinlock and tapped Shamrock out as Slaughter, Brisco and Patterson looked on the Warzone went off air.
Then we round off the show with another recap of Shane's speech from Raw.
